If I recall correctly this is for Windows only right? Any plans to release a linux version so that I could upgrade from PiMP? TL;DR; not any time soon.Only Windows. Only AMD GCN. Reasons (besides the historical ones related to my past experiences with it): - No GUI guaranteed to exist → cannot be ported to "linux" (can be ported at most to some Window Manager on top of it);
- I am not going to support any kind of interface by ncurses (it's against main rationale anyway);
- I assumed multiple window managers were a thing of the past with Gnome winning out. It turns out KDE is still around and perhaps even more → N times the work to support N window managers.
- No added value for me
- Needs validation on big-endian architectures - much more likely in non-windows.
Options are the following: - 90 day Win evaluation copy - just leave the license key empty - this is legal in my country but might be not the case for you;
- I might strip out all GUI with relative ease. What's not easy is having another linux installation with proper dev tools on an HDD already running out of space and life;
- Somebody might port the algos to legacy miners. Not trivial but nothing it cannot be done in... I think someone very well versed in legacy miners could do it in less than a week as the kernels are likely broken on BE architectures (it's possible, if not likely someone already did);
- Wait until the proper "server version" is released.

Only AMD GCN.
That is exactly why I am not including it in simplicity. I do not have any detection routines that I can think of in Simplicity's current state to differentiate between GCN or Terascale. If you look the routine I am using is relatively simple. I just check for existence of certain files as I cannot do much with vbscript. When we do our rewrite then I probably can look into that but as of right now I would be simply pissing a bunch of people off if I changed it.

I really wish you'd keep me a bit more in the loop of things regarding the simplicity GUI and rewrite. I do not see any forks from my repo. I requested it be this way so that way commits could be pushed upstream and not have many branches out and about. As for my repo I am pushing a fix I found for something and adding address saving so it doesnt jump around in electrum.

So just now I decided it was time for me to upgrade to the new wallet with coin control so I could send off the 100k coins that I've managed to accumulate through p2pool (Thousands of tiny inputs!!!) and after failing a quick search on reddit I came to the ANN post over here. Man, I was impressed. The thing is huge and filled with pretty pictures showing off how far we've come. If I was an investor (Disclaimer: Already holding 4+ million coins) that didn't know about Myriad, I would definitely take a second look after seeing the depth of that post. Best part is that I remember when most of that news first came out

What is the probability to replace bitcoin?
Myriadcoin does not have to replace bitcoin. If the "FIAT-gateways" (i.e. Coinbase, Bitstamp, BTC-e, Bitfinex) accept Myriad coin, then; it would be reasonable to assume most of the places that accept BTC will also accept MYR (i.e. Newegg, Dell, many online retailers, Square, many brick-and-mortar places such as coffee shops and hotels, etc.) Chicken-and-egg situation, though. At any rate; both BTC and MYR can co-exist in the above scenario in the same way $/EUR/GBP,etc co-exist now and can be used where appropriate.

Has the SMS wallet ever been implemented or is it still in "private beta" stage? If it's the latter, I'm going to be extremely pissed off The SMS wallet is on "hold" until we get multisig implementation from bitcoinj. We decided to wait for this release because we do not want any form of centralization in the SMS wallet. We can give you Myriadcoin's version of VeriSMS, but your coins are in the hands of others. We want to get this right.

I'll tell him next time I see him online. He is Howie- on IRC. Talk to him if you see him.
