Yes I was very keen on the SMS wallet but after some research agree totally that decentralised option is the only way to go. This is the best decision to wait until this can be done.  But the Android wallet is working just fine thanks to the dev of this.

Has the SMS wallet ever been implemented or is it still in "private beta" stage? If it's the latter, I'm going to be extremely pissed off Smiley

The SMS wallet is on "hold" until we get multisig implementation from bitcoinj. We decided to wait for this release because we do not want any form of centralization in the SMS wallet. We can give you Myriadcoin's version of VeriSMS, but your coins are in the hands of others. We want to get this right.

Good to hear. I've gone hoarse trying to explain to other people why MYR is the coin to have, I don't want my efforts to be all for nothing Smiley

Keep to do.

Hello, is there a way I can setup a node, and help block downloading with the Myriadcoin wallet? I have a server with a 10 Gbe that can help out quite a bit on the network

Not to my knowledge, unfortunately.

Myriad P2Pool Incentivization: P2Pool Donations

http://myriadplatform.org/myriad-p2pool-incentivization-p2pool-donations/

This is an automated donation system that encourages miners to use P2Pool. Mining on P2Pool helps to decentralise the network, ensuring that traditional pools do not gain a large slice of the hashrate and potentially impact the security of the network.

Donations received at the donation address (see below) are saved up until they exceed the payout threshold. The donation is then split up amongst the 5 Myriadcoin P2Pool networks to both reward those already mining and to incentivise P2Pool mining on all 5 algorithms. Firstly, each network receives 5% of the donation amount. Then the remaining 75% of the donation is distributed to each network on a proportional basis, determined by its time to block relative to the other networks. This results in those networks with a long block time (and hence less P2Pool mining) receiving a greater share of the donations, to act as an incentive to increase P2Pool mining on that algorithm. Each miner on each network receives an amount based on their expected block earnings.

Stats at the time of this post:
Donation Address: M9t5Xep6Fz3scxJkzXfYMXggF7LaAK9A6w
Payout Threshold: 200.00000000 MYR
Donations Balance: 0.49970000 MYR
Total Paid Out: 499.49970000 MYR
Last Paid Out: 2:49 am Saturday 4th October (UTC)

There's not, but I think it should be pretty straightforward to run it using python, at least it's not too bad to do on ubuntu/debian.

http://www.reddit.com/r/myriadcoin/comments/2ia24j/discussion_the_state_of_the_latest_cryptocurrency/

[Open Discussion]

Hey guys, I was hoping this thread could be used for a discussion of meaningful innovations or features that other cryptocurrencies have come out with the past few months or so. I think its healthy to be mindful of how the playing field evolves and its impact on the relevancy of Myriadcoin's niche.

Ideally, an open discussion could lead to new ideas for Myriadcoin to tinker with in a manner that pushes us forward along our niche "path" - a coin for everyone. Additionally, it would behoove us to outline the pros and cons of any new features that coin developers are coming out with so we can mutually understand why something may not necessarily be healthy to implement in Myriadcoin.

Discuss away!

Myriadcoin - the first multi-PoW blockchain! (Mine with SHA256 [ASICs], Scrypt [GPU/ASICs], Skein [GPUs], Groestl [GPUs], OR Qubit [CPUs/GPUs]).

Myriad deleted from mintpal ..

Quote from someone on IRC:
Quote
<Miraged> A few (relatively low volume) coins are currently unavailable due to daemon codebase issues. They will be available shortly, and your coins our safe! We will be making a blog post about these coins shortly. Please check out blog at http://blog.moolah.io/

Sounds like they will add market back, but not really clear I guess.
