You can, another thing is the question you should or not and what ICO, as generalising in this matter is not the right question I think. So yes, you can invest in ICO in bear market, but looking at so many alts at really good prices I would rather buy some already listed, undervalued good projects' tokens before participating in an ICO.

I dont think i can but rather i will wait for the listing on exchange because it will be cheaper. Buy more on exchange. But the problem is most icos this period are currently postponing their exchange listing probably because of the bearish market.

It is very difficult to invest in such times. Ico investments have not made a lot of money in recent times. even the price of many coin dropped very much after ico. For this reason I am not investing

The hardest time to invest is in a bear market. You end up purchasing little amount of tokens for more ETH or BTC. But it's also a good time for projects to collect good sums of money during their crowdfunding, as ETH or BTC goes up, so does the value of the funds raised.
The question now is, will you invest in ICOs, or stick with investing in market dips (buy low, hodl and wait to go up and sell), or simply trade in bear markets?
You have to be very selective in order to choose a profitable one. The bear market delayed many interesting ICOs. Sooner or later, the bear market will come to an end, so a new kind of ICOs might shine in the future.

Don't invest to such coins or ico's that you aren't sure of. Ico investments have not made a lot of money in recent times. even the price of many coin dropped very much after ico. For this reason I am not investing Don't invest to ICOs today, many complained that scams are out there.

Long term investment with small capital on best ICO is more advised in bear market. The current situation is even if a legit ICO is listed on an exchange, its value is traded under the ICO price. Though the respected coin’s growth can not be expected, can purchase and keep for a long term to get minimum turn over. So choose the best ICOs and go for a long term investment.

Since I am a long-term investor, of course I will use the current market situation in order to buy promising crypto currency and keep it until the price for it grows at least 5 times.

This is the best time to invest in crypto space, bear market means cheap tokens so buy now and hold until the market recovers then you can sell with good profits later

I think it's illogical to postpone listing. If you've raised your required sum, go ahead and list... And with a buy back program you can gain more tokens.

To date, a lot of projects are doing the wrong things, because after the end of the ico the company is delayed to enter the stock exchange for trading. If the project really has prospects, then each holder is only interested in increasing the price, and therefore will not sell coins immediately after entering the other platform.

If the project has a good potential, marketing, a great idea then why not. But it's still a risk.

I'd rather stick to invest during the market dips and only buy those coins at the cheaper price and hold it for few months. While I'm holding those coins, as normal practice will do some trades to.
I agree with what you think, I also prefer investing, because with my investment, I have to make a profit every day now, because now the price goes up and down, when prices go down I have the opportunity to buy, if I invest ICO is less interested.

I believe yes because there are lots of good Icos to invest with. However, we just have to choose which the best one is. I'd love to have a good ico with a potential and good platforms just to assure that I'll have a good gain through it. I am willing to take the risk but I'll make sure to choose the best one.

It's a really big risk. Say for example I have 1000$ I would prefer to trade and do stop loss than to invest in ICO that may fail or not get listed on time. This will invariably tie down Capital.

After listing in an exchange its really more cheap since investots dump their token right away. Most of the ICO now are extended until November, maybe they are hoping that November will be the start of a bull market again. For me don’t invest on the ICO if you think you will just lose the money because of bear market.

What can happen in this market, that is what I realized for 2 years into the cryptocurrency market. It is important that you find a good project that can help you succeed and invest in ICO is always a good choice for venture capitalists.

The bear market is giving great opportunities. But you shuld be very careful about making a decision between making an investment in an ICO or an altcoin. If I had had some money to make investment right now, I would choose a strong coin like ethereum.

If the project really has prospects, then each holder is only interested in increasing the price, and therefore will not sell coins immediately after entering the other platform. It's one thing to believe in a project. It's another to trust the project to deliver on the said promises. So most investors tread carefully in investing in any project. IMHO, trading should be a way to expose the project to more prospective investors. But sadly it's only a medium for people to dump their cheaply gotten tokens.

If the project is legit, it’s very logical to invest at the moment.
PECULIUM is a great example. Their ico is continuing and it’s a no brainer to invest in PECULIUM.
