Be sure to hit up Mintpal on Twitter @MintPalExchange

Let them know that Coin2 is the only coin at the top of the list with almost exclusive organic votes.

All of the other coins are pretty much buying their position and will end up like CAGE or RBBT (except Devcoin, they have been around since 2011) .

Also,  that we are a top 100 coin on Coin market cap and already trading on Bter... Smiley

Or

Simply retweet this ... Smiley

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I'm really not one for organised charity for various reasons I won't go into now but I ultimately think they can sometimes do more bad than good. BUT I believe people have the right to give to those in need and Bitcoin at least has the hope to be more direct than some organised charities that are really just an organisational sink hole.

http://www.ihavebitcoins.com/featured/dogecoin-shibe-leaders-set-gifting-sights-africa/

So I saw this story and started to think that Coin2 is the perfect coin to help others due to it's fairness of distribution etc. I guess this can vary form helping an individual or a cause be it humanitarian or other, say a green cause etc.

I think Coin2 has a future as a coin for helping people and I won't be coy about it but it also will help the coin and it's holders. To my mind this is how true Capitalism is a force for good. I also think the real power of cryptocurrencies is when they are shown to affect something in the 'real world' be it an Olympic bobsleigh team or a charity.

I think the value of Coin2 at this stage makes it unviable to help people unless of course you just think in terms of coins given rather than fiat value received. But like I said I think as a community we should consider how this coin could become a movement for good that mutually benefits the coin holders as well.

Peace!

Nothing is forked....We had 20mh/s all day and the difficulty adjusted to .8 and then a few people left and we are back down to 3 mh/s but difficulty has not retargeted.  I have been watching who mines and I think that once difficulty retargets I will lock down the pool to avoid longer tx times.

got forked mate, i did the trick with dumpprivkey and importprivkey in a new wallet, and i got them back

i sent them again and same problem, probably the nxt-e address is fucked up

There has been about 45 min in between this block and the last and there was 35 min between the two before that.  It is not able to confirm as fast as it was because two big miners left.  Difficulty needs to readjust.  I will lock down the pool when it does.  It cannot fork because I never issued a new wallet for it to fork.

Some general marketing ideas...

Once we have a paper wallet...

Gorilla marketing - Have a couple of people go where college aged kids congregate... such as a college or entertainment district, and offer free C2 crypto in paper form. It might help to have C2 hats and shirts on when you do this.

Sell on ebay - You are not allowed to sell crypto on ebay (people get away with it anyways) but there aren't really any rules against giving it away. You could do a dual listing with say a used video game titled " Used Super Mario Bros 3 NES & Free Cryptocurrency Paper Wallet."

The main thing to remember is you can't leave a paper trail discussing anything dealing with the sale of crypto. They are simply a freebie to go with the physical product you are selling and shipping to the buyer with tracking (an absolute must). Just make sure to use the right keywords in the title such as "Like Litecoin" or "Litecoin Like."

I have several items laying around the house that I will probably sell with free paper wallets when the wallets are available.

General stuff...

T-shirts - Get a couple of t-shirts made up on Cafe Press and sell them on ebay with all of the available information about C2 in the products description.

YouTube channel - Start a YouTube channel (this is free) and hold a contest where people make crazy ass C2 videos. The one who makes the craziest video wins the contest.

Down the road...

Coin2Corp - Either have 10% of the fees collected for C2 transaction or accept donations to a general Coin2Corp fund. The fund would eventually be used to start a real world corporation that has the sole purpose of doing good for humanity. The corp could even hire people and acquire land and buildings. The people to run this project might not be part of C2 as of yet but they might be a couple of years from now. The funds collected for the corp would be donated to it as start up money when the time is right.

Can we get a few miners on the pool for a bit?  Difficulty was at .8 and a miner with over 10mh/s left.  Once dif retargets I am going to lock down pool and I am going to think about adding a non-readjusting difficulty or Kimoto Gravity Well.
