A big problem is that the network mining C2 is so thin, by construction (no reward = no incentive to secure the network). If you don't want to introduce a block reward for coin2 ... perhaps you want to set a minimum transaction fee, so that miners are actually rewarded at least a little bit - then you have a chance of a sustainably growing network. It's worth the discussion, what is best for this coin long-term. But there is a short term emergency. Until then, someone rich who wants to help secure coin2, could just buy rigs on betarigs.com and let them mine coin2, as a donation. Or you make a crowdfunding mining action. Publish two addresses (BTC and C2) on the posting #1, the main-website, in your signatures, etc. - and whatever is donated into those two addresses, is used to buy mining rigs hours/days at betarigs. YIPPIEH, that's a quick solution. We had 20mh/s all day and the difficulty adjusted to .8 and then a few people left and we are back down to 3 mh/s but difficulty has not retargeted. There has been about 45 min in between this block and the last and there was 35 min between the two before that. It is not able to confirm as fast as it was because two big miners left. Difficulty needs to readjust.
Why is difficulty 4 times higher, while networkhashps is 15% lower? Does this coin need Kimoto Gravity Well?

I am not saying the instructions were difficult to follow, but I made a tutorial post (with wallet pics) over at the Coinzen Coin2 board on how to solo mine the C2 blockchain. If anyone is interested.. http://coinzen.org/index.php/topic,459.0.html

Nope, you are mining after you enter setgenerate true32 and push enter. My computer instantly starts to scream as if something is hurting it. If you do a mouseover over that mining icon after you enter setgenerate true32 it shows the hashrate you are mining at. You just need to remember to click back onto the wallet for the mouseover to work.

Things are looking pretty good. I think many of the initial Coin2 dumpers are sold off. The bids are starting to go unfilled and the price is slowly creeping up every day. Anyone on the fence about buying in should probably do so because I think it is only up from here. The days of dirt cheap C2 are over with.

Then Dirt cheap after tha ( by the end f March 2014 ) After 6 weeks or so in the near future, will still be cheap but only each of them are hitting their heads regret not just close their eyes and risk taking on some when virtually free

Everyone be sure to hit up the new Austin Global Exchange and ask them to add Coin2. https://agx.io/I sent them an email and they said that many coins will be evaluated over the next 30 to 60 days for inclusion. Just click the suppport button and shoot them an email. or Hit up this Bitcoin Talk thread and ask for C2 to be included... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=451304.0They answered my email very quickly and also have this on their website... 24/7 customer support ensures you're never in the dark about the status of your account. http://Austin Global is registered and compliant with the United States Bank Secrecy Act, FinCEN BSA ID 31000041189994 They could be a major player imo...

Regarding Exchanges
I hope we move much more cautiously from now on. Listed in the exchange must have some sort of established history or strong financial backer. From an unknown with beautiful graphic and stated 'Beta'.... got to watch out. I've been burnt twice, Mt Gox ( big time ) and CoinMarket.io ( little but still a bite ) and Now the so call OpenEx seems facing the same even they try to excuse on upgrade and update whatever that is, all trade suspended. Funds being freeze...then found out they been hacked..., all in just less than period of 3 months .
My advice...Coin2 should be more cautious and wisely use of judgement. When an exchange busted, Coin2 will have some domino effect especially when still a new coin.

Thank you for your concern. I advise everyone, no matter what exchange, to only leave a small amount on exchange for trading and never use it for storage. I do see exchanges going down every week.

Yep, exchanges are for trading and not long term coin storage.
Although, I suspect that exchanges with some type of deposit insurance will be coming down the pipe very soon.
Nobody really worries about their e-trade balances getting wiped out... crypto exchanges will get to that level eventually.
