come on.... ppl get impatient.

give us any hints what is going on now.

You all know we are waiting for a reply from Mintpal lol

We need to get the full details before we move forward.

Other than that the game is continuing to be developed in the mean time.

as a noob, i can't calm down like you. maybe you are a insider.

hope everything under control and no damage done!

I'm a board member so yes I am an insider.

Everything is OK.

I have personally maxed my credit card this week and my overdraft buying in here and I can tell you I am cool as a cumcumber.

Nobody will lose anything we just need to hear back from Mintpal first.

Yeah. We will find out soon enough.

Either way we will come up with a solution.

Until we hear back it is pretty much business as usual with regards to the game and all things associated with it.

Could somebody fill me in on what happened here? How did the attacker pull it off? Is the vulnerability they took advantaged of ubiquitous to pure PoS coins or were there special circumstances?

Bump. Anybody?

When fps games released the official version of it?

Obviously we cannot give any dates until the current situation is sorted as well as the game being fully tested.

Progress wise we are just touching up the graphics and adding a few new maps.

There is a website being built that will enable those interested to sign up to a beta test for when the time comes.

Double spend on Mintpal by an attacker using a 51% attack.

The inclusion of the community by the management team has been outstanding throughout this crisis. However, I can't help but feel anxious waiting for the news from Mintpal to uncover the extent of the problem.

I can understand how you must be feeling.

Whatever happens we will find a solution that ensures nobody loses anything.

We also are huge investors ourselves and we also want to look after all of our holders as most of you have been here from the beginning.

We came through the last attack and we will again this time.

Well it's MintPal problem... this problem never occured on any other exchange from time C2.0 was released.

MintPal perhaps will say it is not their fault - cause how could they say anything else... but it is their problem and this should not affect C2.0 market at all - but it is affecting and I am getting angry about those MintPal exchanges.

I am wondering why they wouldn't have had the wallets on the Mintpal exchange staking all the time?

That alone would have secured the network.

I thought some exchanges even pay some of the stake to the holders so surely they have the exchange wallets staking?

I'm not a tech guy so it might not be possible but I was just wondering out loud.

We will find out soon enough.

No worries my friend.
I am pretty sure you will lost none of your holdings.

MintPal will have to secure their network and indeed they need to understand how PoS is secures coin on it's own.

Anyway we need to wait for them to sort their problems out.

Devs will fix this issue, no doubt.

Take away message? This attacks effectiveness is proportional ti the ammount of coins kept on exchanges and inversly proportional to the ammount of coins being staked.

Keep your coins in your wallet and stake them.

Only move what ammount of coins you whish to trade in 1 trading session to exchange.

Withdraw a.s.a.p.

(serisously though bter had no problems, wtf minty, ammature hour or what?)
