 C2 will rise stronger than before ^^. Love this!  suggestion: C2F - C2 Fenix  I love Fenix design - looks pretty great! I am thinking about the name but can't really figure it out good. C2F is ok. But I supose Devs have their own feelings about how to name it. |

If those 20 mil coins rewarded for exchange new coin, I guarantee will be the 3rd the 4th ... future attack. Coin2 should void all transaction from that approx date follow the trail of block chains. I really don't mind to lose couple hundred thousand of coins to help discourage future attack.

MintPal should take part of responsibility allow such ridiculous vol in a short time frame transaction unmonitored and the low confirmation of coin.
Consolidate 2 to 1 reduce the amt of coin will help discourage future attack meanwhile void all transaction on that date thereafter direct link to Mintpal. It will be huge task time consuming but great way to sacrifice few led the new path of anti hack coin.

Is there any chance to say how long it will take to create this new Coin? Our Fenix? last time it went very smooth - within a week we had new coin ready for us I hope this time it will not take much much longer I must say I love IT but I don't like hackers anymore ... I respect them ... but some of them are too greedy ... |

Surely Mintpal would want to protect their customers by staking their coins to ensure security?
The more I think about this whole thing the more I think they should pay and not us.
If they were staking and caring about their customers none of this would have happened.
The other exchanges caught it ... why not them?
Why such low confirms as well?
I personally think they have a lot to answer for.

I have over 707K of NC2 on Bter and it doesn't show here Short answer - there is no filter Long version: You can post your deposit address on bter you send your coins to or you can investigate by yourself using searchbox (top right) on http://nc2chain.info and looking at transactions and final balance. I guess deposit addresses are transit only and your coins are mixed with everyone else's coins on that exchange in exchange's wallet. And btw, I can see my local wallet address there and it's shows the right balance. Can anyone else confirm is top100 working correctly for you or not? |

Altering the total ammount of c2 will not change the mechanic that allowed this to occur.
If we keep PeerCoin model we need higher market cap and / or benovolent monopoly.
Or NXTcoin PoS model with deterministic probability of block based on coin age accrued. (but we still need people minting!)

I just checked, and my bter address shows zero coins deposited, or sent, However, I know I deposited to that address and have loads of coins on bter, so something funny is going on.
Thinking about it, I have not touched my coins since before the swap, so that might explain things to some extent.

Just look at the voting system, price vote increased free vote decreased thats enough to say were their mind is heading.
Were giving them way too much power as an exchanger when there is much better exchangers out there.

Well maybe you are right but MintPal is quite big exchange and thousands of traders are using it. I am not. I don't like MintPal for some reasons but they mean something for a world of altcoins market. Anyway they need some improvements... |

is it possible for us to adopt NXTcoin model? it is amazing if we do. But NXT clones are not really doing too good. Just have a look at a NAS coin... 4 satoshi as a price for 1 coin... NAS market cap is not bad at all. another thing is NAS is totally clone. but C2 has its own glitches. with addition of gambling or other features, C2 may got more momentum. |
