Can someone give a run-down of how the coin is going to be earned through the game?
It's not, it's going to be staked on the games.
Ah, so it's going to be where you bet on a game and then if you win you take the pot?
as is my understanding, yes.
I would add though that my understanding is that C2 will have alot of infrastructure developed around it to enable this function without infringing upon the intellectual property of others (as you would if you attempted to mod a pre existing game).
The FPS (Chain of Conflict) is simply the first of many uses for C2 being developed which will increase demand by way of increasing utility, the dev team, being somewhat indie in size will not be releasing information about other infrastructure and uses until they are well into the development of said programs/sites/etc in order to prevent preemptive shitcoin clone competition (like what the WarZ MMO did to DayZ standalone).
By this process the dev team seeks to create demand of C2 as the pre-eminant form of crypto used in gaming (eSports?) etc (tipping on youtube?)
If they are successful (I think they will be personally, full disclosure, I own 350k C2), and C2 is in demand due to these new uses, new C2 users will begin to apply pressure to traditional gaming community retailers to accept their C2, which should lead to wide C2 merchant adoption (at least places like steam/neweggs whatever that cater already to this community).
Once consensus of C2 == Gaming Crypto is achieved, I would then expect to see developers outside of C2 team looking to create games to integrate into the C2 gaming infrastructure (think like an indie team making a game that would be free to play but would use C2 micro payments), and other retailers looking to accept C2 to profit from this community adoption.
So for me, thats the crack. Create the brand identity of C2 = Gaming Crypto.

I think there might be CAIx trying to do something a little like this with facebook games? I think maybe CAIx == Shares in their company or something.
LeetCoin (google), is trying to do this with BTC but who in their right mind bets with BTC?! (and who wants to bet 0.0002?)
If someone did this with facebook games I wouldn't rate it as their is no ego involved. Egos lead to staking.
Big publishers will of course not follow any model into crypto as it will destroy their relationship with big finance which they need to make their mega titles.

I think that if this is successful, we might need more C2 to keep a FIAT/C2 parity that people find rewarding and avoid deflating to a level where people bet fractions, but they can hardfork later and more the decimal place one increment to the right.
