+1 A structured OP, with all info included/updated on daily basis. At this moment OP is a mix of old and new

good games cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and even 10's of millions. to make it good you need to hire awesome people to create the game. all this does not magically appear.

A new ANN will come.
We just need to be completely ready.
It has been planned for a while.

Can you get a user moderated thread on here? Don't do that - transparency is better The more negativity they pump in will be counteracted by the community The more there is the better you know what your fighting for

* I know everyone in the team in strong hearted but I know this stuff can test your metal Hark back to pre-2.1 launch some biz-minded dude said just one representative to answer constructive criticism (not worthless ones) And a couple to handle the changeover late comers You just need one good ambassador (or promomuscler) that can provide a clear If the products good then however passionate you may all be at defending all your hard work, its always best to have a singular voice - rather than a free for all

You have an entire community behind you
Not just the doubters, or late comers, or cynics, or profiteers, or pirates, or naysayers
A clear voice is needed... a leading and authoritative voice is necessary to guide this amazing ship forward
Over and out

Yep definitely only one person needed to keep the community updated. Less is more.
There's definitely too much noise about at the moment. Things need to be more organised and formalised. Why shouldn't this be treated like a normal business with set 'open hours' that are known by everyone where board members are available to deal with enquiries.
With the team living in different time zones, and a shitstorm recently averted, there seems to be a slightly scattered approach to public relations which is understandable but it is very important that there is continuity and openness (where possible).
I remember one of the board members saying someone was coming in to do the PR so I'll look forward to this happening.
I'm sure there are things happening behind the scenes to bring a more structured approach. Regular IRC meetings would help.

Woke up alittle late this morning...wow that was an interesting last few pages.
Ok @tx....
The devs should have just left all the people on minty in the dust...im SURE if you had any of your coins there that this would still be your stance.
Also this smells tmlike banking bailouts...what r u talking about?...ok there was a security hole within the currency ( not the communities fault I get it) then the exchage (which u are reffering to as a bank..lol) got robbed. Ok in a real bank if the money got robbed that would have to do directly with the banks security. Not a security flaw within the fiat's code. Very different.
And the bailout was a major mishandling of money by the banks that the people had to fund. This was a robbery. Mintpal is not backed by the fdic! This is not MONEY its crypto currency....way different.
Exchanges would not exist at the moment if they were held to the standards like that.
Hear me out....a coin developer would just build a coin. Rob all of the holders of their coin in btc. And then yell for mintpal to be responsible for the payback. Aint gonna happen anytime soon.
Anyway off to work......

Hi Glen, how about discuss the issues in IRC meeting tonite around 6:45 to 7:00 EST North America time zone with the committee and Devs + those who think they may or could contribute. Short and precise down to point on organize operation, public relation and tasks? The folks in the committee board seems operating more than excel in every task to me except lack of directional focus and some minor as you spot it.
