*** MacOS Wallet Users***

we have a reported issue where it gets some coins "staked" but failed to confirm...anyone having same issue?...

thanks!

Is it an issue? I thought staked orphan coins are the usual thing, be it Windows, MacOSX or Linux wallet. I have other PoS coins- those wallets gives much, much more unconfirmed staking rewards.

I though this is something normal.  For any coin which is staking.  Mined blocks from btc can go orphan too.
I am staking on windows wallet and got orhpan mined coins like 4 times already :-)

I guess kalisto will correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I understand
https://github.com/kalisto2002/Coin2.1/blob/f5509713507e64aeffb403d920929ea471989a2a/src/main.h#L29
Code:
static const int LAST_POW_BLOCK = 30000;
and we are at block 15771, so 14229 to go (~237 hours or almost 10 days more)

It is more secure to wait any move for the coin once the block 30.000 has been "minted" ... to avoid any attack on basement...

After the 30.000 blocks , the team and the coin can start to fly ;-)

Well, I guess so. So we are lucky to have days of cheap C2 Smiley
But I don't really see strong sell pressure at these price levels - almost everyone who are already in are waiting patiently (thank you guys) and only some are selling sometimes...

I also wish that some of those people who hold their C2 on minpal (27,2 mil) and bter (15 mil + 4(?)mil) moved their coins to local wallets and started staking. But actually the less they stake the more get those who stake.

Ok, back to everyday pool stats Wink

Just curious how is the wallet weight calculated (as opposed to network weight)?
I'm not sure that I get you question right but try to read there https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake#Weights
And in code I believe it's somewhere over there https://github.com/kalisto2002/Coin2.1/blob/f5509713507e64aeffb403d920929ea471989a2a/src/wallet.cpp#L1115

"Mature blocks are competing with other mature blocks to successfully stake"

So I presume this why the more you stake the higher the chances you have of getting all (100%) of the interest per year?

Apart from the fact that higher stakers have better chances above this

Edit: I mean...

1. The more time you stake your coins whatever the amount the higher odds you have of getting all of the interest due
2. The more coins you have to stake the better yours odds are on top of that

Does that sound right

maybe, I don't have a whole lot. under 200k and I'm staking like a hero. not a whole lot. maybe 40 to 50 coins a day. yet i get about 10 to 15 stakes a day. ranging from 0.5 to 8 coins per stake.

Does it make any difference if you have 1 big wallet or 2 smaller wallets,
you have a better chance with BIG wallet ?
or the chances are about the same ?
