I'm curious, when the wallet is open and you click to how many are connected. is that all the wallets on the network? cause if it is, its only 9 wallets. really? only 9? that means 2 are mine. lol or is there more the wallet is not showing?

So if you create a backup, do more than 100 things that cause a new key to be used, and then restore from the backup, some Bitcoins will be lost. I appreciate it refers to bitcoin but as a crypto newbie I wonder is it also true for C2? Also I wonder would it be possible to use something like google 2 factor authentication for authenticating any outbound transactions? Would this be enough to provide reasonable protection to an unlocked wallet? I seem to remember seeing some wallets of other coins implementing this but cannot remember which. I don't know enough about how things work to know if this would help. Perhaps the devs could comment in their spare time I appreciate that something like this if accepted would be further down the line as the devs are flat out already. When setting up a new wallet for the first time, this is what I do.... 1. Load then close the QT Wallet so the AppData folder is created 2. Create the xxxxCoin.conf including this line..... keypool=1000 3. Open the wallet, let the blockchain synchronise, then close the wallet 4. Backup the Wallet.dat file 5. Wallet is ready to use This gives me 1000 addresses which will be recorded in my first backup of the wallet.dat file. My understanding is that not all coins use a new address for each transaction. I think this is more Bitcoin than most alt-coins. In the case of C2, I believe you would need to manually use all your default 100 addresses before it would become an issue (on reverting to an earlier backup).\ For most users this shouldn't be a problem, but service providers would definitely want a starting keypool greater than 100.

Bittzy I think its you with joels account. Can you explain the page 1 document and how they dont match up. Sorry but im not following it. Turned my brain off for the night, mondays ya know.
i also have a question: Since I moved my coins to my mac os wallet, the blockchain shows only half of the coins in my wallet. The wallet itself shows the correct account, test-transactions I made to mintpal went through without problems. Maybe my wallet isn't the only one with this problem. This could explain the difference. Also, should I be worried? I don't want to send it all back to mintpal just to check if it's "real". I got it from mintpal after the swap and am staking since. Can you please provide your address here or pm it to me so I can take a closer look? Of course. I sent you a pm, thx for your help. Great, UdjinM6 solved my problem, it was because of multiple wallet adresses (as someone guessed before) and is no but or anything shady. Thx for your help! Thank you for your response! I'm glad to help you In case someone else have issues like that here is a short overview: Sometimes when you make a transaction your balance splits and second (third, etc) part of your coins moves to so called "change address". Don't worry, that's nothing special of C2, it's how bitcoin works. You can read more on change addresses there https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/ChangeConfusing part is that those change addresses are not shown in wallet GUI (and that's a standard behavior too) but you can list all addresses your wallet uses by firing command "listaddressgroupings" in Help > Debug window > Console

Yup, too quiet, volume low....Any updates on beta testing? Even releasing something with "not so smooth graphics" would bring more people to be interested in the game and back to trading. Seems like people are either holding or not buying.

What's going on now?
Everything is fine. Wallets have multiple adresses, I didn't know that and was confused. Nothing is wrong with the coin or the wallet. ahhhh that explains the kind of behavior I noticed, I tested to send coins on all the multiple addresses and the wallet received them all...nice!...

Hm... Neither news nor any visible progress on Coin2.1 I'm really losing my patience on this. I really don't know if I want to hang on any further... I've been part of this from the very first day, even in Top 100 Richlist....

I've been part of this from the very first day, even in Top 100 Richlist.... I agree and I'm beginning to feel the same. I'm not dumping of course. That would be silly. I understand that the team can't reveal a lot of info, but to not even have a website landing page up by now is pretty poor. Sorry to have to say it. Is the new wallet even on the current website? The github link says Coin2.0??? Also, why hasn't there been a new ANN? The first page of this one looks disorganised and thrown together (obviously because of everything that's happened). A new ANN will clean things up and give a better first impression. We have been and are a patient lot here but to see long term members becoming frustrated is a bad sign.
