Just for my own understanding Kyc is for my own security. The devs use it for them to allocate their tokens to the real owner of the tokens. I dont see any disadvantages of kyc .

For some ICOs, bounty managers say they need KYC for participants to avoid false accounts and it makes sense to me because it is not a secret in Bitcointalk that some Bounty Managers have allowed this fraud, damaging the work of the bounty hunter and the reputation of both the bounty mangers and the bounty hunters.

KYC is used to find out whether we are allowed to buy tokens or coins in the ICO. And if we pass the KYC, then we will get tokens according to the order and there may be bonuses according to the token sale stage.

How about the risk of scam project and your personal info will be used for scamming more people? I'm just concerned with possibilities though it is our obligations to research first before supporting any projects, invest not only your money but also knowledge about the project from that point you'll be able to lessen the risk and continue dealing with this procedure.

Well, it's all done for the bankers,to enable them to control the world,and to control who has how much money,against whom it is possible to introduce sanctions and so on,and come up with 101 way to arrest him,to catch the man and take the money,and the managers of the bounty of companies just for this take tokens from Bautista,as not all manage to pass,there are different causes

Some projects in ico requires kyc to know about their customer more as from the kyc they can get to know the country as some country has banned crypto so they get the transparency of the customer place but not every project require kyc there are lots of scams available in the market so finding the right bounty campaigns is the major task first if you are really sure that the project is legit and if you are comfortable to share then share your kyc but its risky although as you never know what's there on the other side by the way you don't really require to give kyc for the tokens and bounty campaign to join so you can find the other ones without this need.

Some good projects want KYC. The managers need to know their customers. Who they are, where they from, they are normal people or not,... From that they have decisions about the vision of project. Where they must build their show first, where the important area is,..

Not necessarily ICOs need KYC. There are many ICOs in the market that doesn't need customer information. But you should be very careful while giving your private info. Better check the website you are using. Sometimes some websites use your personal information in illegal works, beware about them.

Do we really need to submit our personal details to ICOs for buying the token or for participating in it's bounty and airdrop?
I always wonder why do we need to give our vital info to ICOs that most are not even likely to come on in crypto space and crypto is all about decentralization but submitting our info has made it look centralized to me.
There is no regulation in crypto yet so why should we give our details to unknow ico organizers, so claim to prevent some region in participating in the ico because of the country law but those ICOs comes from the same region and country that prevent their own citizen from participating, should we say they are using style to rob us or our details is being used for other purpose .
I think it's high time we all need to stop giving our details to ICOs if really the crypto is all about decentralized and their is no regulation in the world yet to really require such details, I will like to know everyone minds about the submission of our details in term of KYC .

You can ask developer team at telegram channel why KYC is require and you'll get the answer. KYC is simple rules to follow and have purposes, to make sure project work with people ( not bot ) and protect their system from scammer. Some people doesn't like KYC and they can leave the project any time they want, why developer should follow them?. Join several project follow the rules and get pay, simple isn't?

Well, I think they need KYC to avoid 51% attack in their token. In other words, they prevent the whales. In addition, these ICOs generally prohibit American involvement, they require KYC to prevent this from happening.

I Know KYC is the best way to stop scam on ICO Projects but by doing KYC  there high risk to leak your personal information  for any kind of fraud or bad intention.

I think it is part of some countries regulation. Some ICOs are requiring KYC for investors and sometimes bounty hunters are considered as investors since they are paying their tokens for doing bounty tasks. It could be also that some are requiring KYC to avoid bounty abuse, there are a lot of bounty hunters who are applying multiple accounts on same bounties to get more rewards.

Hi;

I think it is necessary to implement every aspect ... at least these years. As a matter of fact, KYC prevented the ICO Dolphins from manipulating the market, albeit a bit better for the other ICO participants.

Kind regards
