How Long Crypto market will take to recover?

We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stacked in holding.

There are many ideas and analysis on the air, but it seems to be market will not cover till it's reach to dip. My personal prediction is, the market will recover itself  in the second quarter of 2019. DYOR

No one actually knows when. The market had been bearish this year, the market somehow recovers and dips back again after a week or two. Almost everyone is losing a lot of money. The best thing that we can do is to either cut-loss, or just hold and wait for the prices to recover.

The same problem persists in my place the only condition is that I sold my bitcoins at around $15k and now brought back at $7k each so I have doubled my bitcoins but still the problem is of selling those coins as the market is taking pretty long time to recover and I am going out of patience watching the market go red day by day.

I think it won't take long as long other countries will start to unbanned bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, so many people would start to invest their money again with cryptocurrencies because it us really awful when cryptocurrency starts to fall down its prices starting this year.

We just need one strong news to push the price up but we can’t say when that thing will happen. Let’s all hope for that one, hope more people will come in this market after a big dump. Stay on your coinse, don’t rush and have more patience the market is not moving much this time so better to wait for more weeks.

As long as the crypto currency is still in trading it will certainly always be recovered because everyone who sells it is different and makes the price go up or down. I only hope for the crypto currency to increase its price.

Yes.I guess all of us here don't really know when this downtrend will recover.Lot of speculations that maybe by the end of this year but still uncertain.I choose to stay positive all the time and i also hope that this will be over as soon as possible.

Actually we can not predict precisely the price recovery of crypto currency.  Because the characterestics of crypto is very volatile.  Very unpredictable that why we need to be patience if we want to earn more money to our investment in crypto currencies.

in september is expected bitcoin and altcoin price recovered again in case is ETF approved by SEC.if delayed again maybe it will be longer time again cryptomarket in bearish trend.

It is very hard to predict when the market will come back. Maybe after a few months, maybe after a few years. As long as there is chance for market to come back, I will continue holding my coins. I hope that day will come soon. And I believe it will finally come back.

Because no one will know about the future, we can only predict and analyze and it will not happen correctly. With the fall of the market this year it would be better to keep holding back if you still believe in crypto's good future, but I don't think it would be a problem if you want to sell it because of concerns about crypto's future.

Depends on which coin you're holding because each coin has different losses and gains. It can range from 1-3 years because several coins are relying on the price of Bitcoin and there a lot of investors like you who are waiting for the price to go back to $15k~. Those are just my estimate don't take it serioiusly there's no accurate date for when it'll recover. For me I think it's still a good year for crypto because the price of the top coins are maintained after the correction.

Totally agree with this, and one more thing as the OP mentioned the "market is dead". Actually it is not, it is healthy instead. As we can see, the prices went to a roller coster ride (specially Bitcoin). For me I consider it dead once it falls down to where Bitcoin price started. Just because we're not gaining full momentum for a bull run doesnt mean the market is dead. If you study how the traders took advantage of these price movements you (@OP) will be amazed.

I think, no one can answer you that mate. We all know how volatile is cryptocurrency specially bitcoin, and because of this, it could be so difficult to anyone to predict of its price if when it start to rise or dump. But if you don't really want to lose a lot of money from your investment, the best thing that you should do now is to hold tight of your holdings and wait until the market will make its full recovery.

Put a window up until first week of January next year. But if you can't wait for that long, set a percentage on how much you have to cut loss.
And if you chose to wait until January 2019, you've been holding so you can keep on holding since you started it.
