After a period of back and forth with the Bitmine guys and requesting to talk directly with Mr Massarotto. I got my tracking number, but for some reason the package is stuck in the european continent.

I placed my order in Sept '13. So do the math and you'll get the ETA on your pre-orders/orders.

Pretty bad for the Bitmine guys whoe are doing a terrible job at communicating with customers and estimating the delivery dates.

No further buys from this company.

Hello Some days ago i asked about when i'll be supposed to get my desk and my rig and i get an answer 5 days after.

On my order status it's written february week 5 and they say i'll get them at the end of april (week 18 of 2014)

So i'll wait for that.

If have shipping on march week 1, they told me delivery will be end of april too (week 18 of 2014).

That really sucks! I suppose to ge tmine at feb. week 2 now they said (replied support email after 2WEEKS!) Ill get it week 3 in april...

Three Coincraft ASIC desk miners, by BITMINE (Switzerland), new generation, 28 nm technology.
Delivery is scheduled by Bitmine for 7 April. (This is seems to be reliable, since on April 8 it is 61 days of delay, and I may initiate a refund).

Miners are absolutely new. Guarantee from the manufacturer.

List price paid in November was: 4236 Euro (for one miner). I am selling them for much less!
I (or you) may need to pay VAT (in The Netherlands 21%) + delivery.

Sent one last month got a reply within 2 days. This month its been 2 weeks and nothing.
Not looking good.

Received a mail Tuesday stating delivery estimated in 3 weeks... That makes the date 22nd April for a week 5 2014 unit.

Hold on... Tuesday was April 1st... Damn. I really hope this isn't some sick Swiss joke!

I think it's the best price per GH ratio at ricardo.

I accept/prefer BTC. Devices have to be picked up in St.Gallen (Switzerland), no delivery.

As a present I will give a large fan and an ammeter (shows how much energy the device needs) for every coindesk device.
(I have two fans and two meters waiting.)

So I get some news.

1. I picked up some support answerts here about the delivering date. So I ask the support as well. And they told me I get my mashine just 1 week sooner than other people posting here ordered 4-5 weeks later than me.

So I told the support that I wont take it, that people ordered 4-5 weeks after me, just get the miner a week after me. So I told them I want it NOW!

NOW THE INTERSTING PART:

They told me, YOUR delivering date (4-5 weeks later guys) are just estimate, and MY delivering date is fix ..hahaha...crazy cheese eaters..

So what does that mean: Did they lied to you? Looks like...

2. News 16.03 : they said they dont stop selling miners cause the want to cover the delays first = Lie - they still selling und u can order. ANd BTW how can they recover delays when they allready 8 weeks late,...? = crazy cheese eaters...

3. I dont mind about the delays, because they "said" it before *kind of* (AND Im an ex BFL customer...) but what really fucking me up it the change of TOS "max. 50% more hashing power" and only THIS is the reason that I never buy anything more from Bitmine...they just fucked it up!

What is the day of possible refund? (I allready send the form, but not 100% (but pretty sure) if I caculated in the bitmine.ch way... )

I was Feb week 4, and approaching the refund point....only to get a mail informing me that I could pick up the coincraft desk yesterday....days before I was eligible for a refund.

Anyway, I ordered an 800, and ended up with an 800 and a 400 for the CCP compensation. Picked them up today (I live 150kms from their office).
It's my first attempt at mining, so please excuse my noobiness 

Figuring i'd try out the 800 first and get it setup, I plugged it in, it booted but upon trying to get in via the IP, it refused to connect and looking at it with the Win7 troubleshooter, it tell me - The remote device or resource won't accept the connection. Tried the 400 and it works fine, and is happily mining as i'm typing (altough it's giving me a headache....it's REALLY loud).

Anyway, has anyone come across this issue?

Maybe I have the same problem:

I got my miner today and it is mining very well.
But one thing isn't ok: I can't access the web interface, I ran nmap and it said that no port is open. My workaround is simple and not really comfortable: I take the SD card and alter the SQLite databese with the configuration (Note: the database design is very very poor, has anybody else looked into it and saw how the cgminer configuration is saved?).

@Giorgio: I really hope that Bitmine will give us a full image of the OS and not only a tar-ball with the files to replace.

Oh dear.....so i'm not alone it seems 

I did wonder about open the case up to see if anything obvious is wrong with it.
In terms of what's on the SD (sorry noob), can I simply copy from working 400 to the card of the 800? or swap them, to see if it helps.

Try to swap them, if it works copy the entire working card to the other. Using windows you normally only see the bootloader partition, but you have to copy the OS partition too. Ask Google how to do that.

So i backed up both cards as images, then swapped the 400 SD card for the 800 one, and now the 800 boots, and i can connect to it via it's IP.
So i just need to write the 400 imagine to the 800 card, then i'm golden...I hope

It looks like the 120mm fans, are Chinese specials from MB Ambeyond, can't find any info on them.

Anyway, has anyone replaced them, and if so for what?
Obviously noise vs. cooling is important.

I can only tell you about my experience of cooling GPU rigs...
I've had some good experience with
"Arctic Cooling Arctic F12" (http://www.arctic.ac/de_de/produkte/cooling/gehaeuseluefter/arctic-f12.html) - cheap, silent, but quite powerful and with
"Scythe Slip Stream 120" (http://www.scythe-eu.com/produkte/luefter/slip-stream-120.html) - more expensive, not as silent, but more powerful.

This is a cross post just because it might happen that my post here could be removed...

Don't worry, we are releasing it today, we took the chance to fix some other minor bugs and delayed the release of one day.

This might sound like a rant and maybe it is one... but at least I try to stay at the facts

Are you counting a broken turbo mode as minor bug (or is it one of the reasons for the new firmware?) or do you count the broken power save mode as minor bug? Or is it something else?

I'm just asking because the only mode that seems to work as advertized is the normal mode. Here's my "fail overview" (this list might not be exhaustive)

• Turbo mode: more hash rate, but so much more HW errors that it effectively hashes slower - fail!
  
• Power save mode: throttles the hash rate by 25% and the power consumption by 25% (resulting in still 1 J/GH instead of ~0.5 J/GH!) - fail!
  That is completely different from what was advertized!
  
• Not refunding people within 30 days after refund is requested (according to "terms of sale" 5.4) - fail!
  
• Not processing a refund but sending hardware instead - fail!
  
• Still not having learned how to treat paying customers - fail!

@bcmine receiving a miner instead of getting the refund processed is for sure something that one can complain about

I'm only not calling it a SCAM because I can (with a lot effort!) see at least some delivered hardware.
...although that doesn't work like advertized and one might say: take your miner back, because it is broken and deliver what I've ordered - or if you can't give me my money back!

Sure, because due to "late" delivery this piece of hardware will very soon cost more money (thanks to the steep rising difficulty, caused by idiots like us who spend money for purchasing hardware...) for powering it than it will generate as BTC (and please may no one tell me about future price of BTC. If I'd bet on that I could as well buy them at an exchange... If someone orders hardware one might expect to mine with it in an economical efficient way, right?)

Without the power save mode working as advertized you will - depending on your energy cost per kWh - soon have an expensive piece of crap.

From the product description of the Coincraft Desk:
"Hashing speed in power-save mode of 150 / 300 / 450 / 600 / 750 GH/s.
Hashing speed in turbo mode up to 300 / 600 / 900 / 1200 / 1500 GH/s.
Total maximum power usage in power-save mode of 80 / 160 / 240 / 320 / 400 W.
Total maximum power usage in turbo mode: 375 / 750 / 1125 / 1500 / 1875 W."

...which already is different from the product announcement:
"with power usage figures as low as 0.35 W/GH in low power mode"

But as this power usage is for the chip only and there's some more hardware that needs to be powered, I'd be fine with the values from the product description.
But 25% less power for 25% less hash rate doesn't meet the specs at all...

Looks like vastly overpromised and underdelivered.
Pre-orders are risky - for the customers...
