2000 is new the floor perhaps Huh  Shocked
..
A decent multipool should help to get back some of the lost miners, when they see that they can collect their Faircoins faster and with a lower payout threshold.

FAC transactions are freaking people out. Something is amiss in the blockchain. Since I can't sell at 50% loss, will just have to add to the stash. Could turn, should turn. FAC it  Grin

^ This - I just hit stake and now most of my coins are gone. What the hell is going on? 5k coins 4k just staked and now have only 1k?

Because they are "minting", you have to wait 20+ blocks (i forgot how many) and they will return to your balance, where they must mature 520 blocks before they can be spent.

No - when that occurs they move to the "staking" area and i can still see them in my wallet. These are no longer in my wallet - not under staking or unconfirmed or anything. And yes my wallet is up to date.

The CommunityCoin, similar to FAC, just setup a multipool at wafflepool that could've drawn several miners from FAC. But FAC is more profitable right now. Moreover you get a 20% bonus from this week.

Looks like the sha256 side of the pool is up and running.  Get those farms pointed this way

Problems here too. latest wallet installed, only nodes with protocol 80501 in conf file, stuck on block 4697 but blockchain shows 4754. No lost coins or stake just will not sync.

Why does earning Stake remove the coins from my wallet?

Anyone?

And no they are not "just maturing" they are not listed under the Stake area at all anymore.

Just all of a sudden i get notification of coins staked and then my wallet is 1k less FAC

EDIT: Seems like the stakes are getting no confirmations as well.

Delete all files from the C:/User .. Roaming, and leave Wallet.dat {always have a back up in any case} in there, then run wallet again and it will sync.

Coinmarket Cat prowls once again.

Can someone sticky this to the OP - dont know how many times i have posted this.

If your wallet is not syncing and your using the windows wallet

Close your client

goto the start menu and type in %appdata%

Look for the faircoin folder

Delete everything EXCEPT for wallet.dat and faircoin.conf

Re-open the wallet

You will sync.

I understand that but the bigger question is why do we have to do this repeatedly to keep in sync? This will be the fourth time I have had to do this. Is there a problem with the windows wallet? None of my other wallets have this issue.

This looks very promising, And they say NEM will be fair with his only 4k shareholders, where a lot could take stake without any bitcoin,
while the last investors had to pay a lot for the same stake.
And the NEM team developer stake is very huge.

For me Faircoin have the most fair distribution!!  Smiley

I see a bright future for Faircoin.
