FOR ALL THOSE WHO DON'T HAVE ASIC-FARMS & WANT TO GET THE BEST OUT OF THEIR GPUs

(reposted from Blakecoin thread & ZeitCom)

OK Guys,

I've now been mining the Blake-256 algo for just long enough to 'run the numbers' for the merge-pool.

(Yeah, I melted 2 calculators doing it, someone needs to make a widget!)

Interesting reading though-

Per 24 hours, with my HD7990 running around 60% of what it really should be doing....

COIN      Coins/day   Current Price   SubTotal
Blake22.560.000040.009024
Photon18600.00.000000130.002418
Dirac6.2040.0010.006204
BBTC56.160.000001260.000071

Which adds up to 0.0177167 BTC per day.

Whereas mining Myriad on myr-gr on TWO rigs (HD7990 & HD5870), flat out, gives me

918.76 x  0.00000367 = 0.00337 BTC per day.

Making the mergepool 5.257 times more profitable than Myriad! MUCH WOW Wink

(Guess who is now gonna tweak the 5870 for Blake?)

Only real disappointment is with BBTC - SO much less profitable (by a factor of 20-50!) than the others, why is this?

But overall - yeahmon, BIG thumbs up to the mergepool!

MERGEPOOL - http://eu3.blakecoin.com/

E2A - Slight error on my part *quadruple facepalm* Just been informed that Photon market is in LiteCoin not BitCoin. Can someone lend me an unmelted calculator? Will re-do the maths later. Still better figures than anything else I've mined, though. Especially as just I've added my HD5970 @ 1.87 GH/s to the equation Grin

Hi Lion,

This is very compelling, but it looks like your subtotal for Blakecoin is off by a factor of ten (22.56 x 0.00004 = 0.0009024).  Bummer!

But that still gives a total that beats what I've been able to get using my GPUs with NiceHash or CryptoAlts.

I'm giving this a try myself.

Thanks for the tip!

Trying that blakemerged as well.  But their site lists 4 exchanges to trade BLC.  Are there any exchanges for the other coins the pool mines? Couldnt find any listed on the 4 (well except havnt checked atomic trade yet, trying to figure that one out, real pita).  Pointless if not.

E2A II - I'm now getting 2.03 GH/s out of my HD5870 so my daily profit is around 0.011 BTC/day.
Gonna try undervolting the HD7990 as per the Matni how-to on the forum. Should get nearly 5GH/s out of that when I finish tweaking it

- and 2, maybe 3 coins are being added over the weekend Grin

"AT" isn't a coin, it's just a place-marker on the pool.

If you want fastest info about new coin additions follow @blakecoin on twitter. I'll update here when I know, of course. I'm spending the weekend tuning my main gpus, & adding CPU mining too - apparently an i7 gives around 14250 khash/s, an i5 8700 khash/s & even my old Core2Duo will give 3500 khash/s Grin

That was quite funny, when the dev went through the first stake application list (Which was filled in just under an hour!) he found ONE HUNDRED & FORTY fraudulent applications (multiples & sockpuppets) including from at least 1 from a 'Hero Member' *SHAME*

There's a name-and-shame call gone out, supported by yours truly (Time we started policing this place ourselves denk ik)

So, Monday or Tuesday the stake-list will be re-opened with a bitch-fight for the remaining 140 slots. Should be worth watching, there'll be a lot of DEPLORABLE human behaviour going on  Shocked

Let me get this right: Zeitcoin is intrinsically a sound altcoin. Not yet three months old, it has an above average wallet, is fully Proof of Stake (POS) with advanced coin control should you need it. Good write-ups too, being flagged up alongside Darkcoin as a coin to watch.

http://www.followthecoin.com/zeitcoin-launch-mining/

http://www.followthecoin.com/3-new-bitcoin-alternatives-watching/

It has had a low-key launch and the price is ridiculously low. Zeitcoin has a good, experienced, helpful community with contributions exceeding other well-established coins in terms of page numbers on Bitcoin Forum. Where else can you become a coin millionaire for the price of a pint of beer (UK)? I should imagine that would be a reasonable punt considering Zeitcoin's potential. Incredulous. Check it out! Pardon me - I have some serious munching to do!

I just wish ALL rookies were as perceptive as you, dude Grin

Our biggest challenge is the 107BTC of whale-blubber preventing our rise to double-digit plus trading - as I've said before, the ONLY reason I can see why that much coin is forgoing the benefits of minting is that they know they will make a LOT more later - these guys didn't become whales by making bad business decisions, after all.

EACH TIME ARE WORSE!
There is no chance of bomb that can save you! The whales flee as watching the walls are gaining momentum!

This coin is now irrecoverable!
As measure that time passes the walls of sale are growing! And this is going to sharpen more and more!

And it is most logical. It is the time effect that wearing until to investors who wished to retain this coin to long term!
All are becoming more down their claims and pile more and more on the order of 10 satoshis!

Another dickless wonder makes the ignore list  Kiss

Obviously another attempt to scare people to sell moronically low - probably has buy orders at 1 & knows the rise is not far away.

Hey, compared with some threads we're getting off lightly.
