Thanks for the info.  I was wondering as this is a mandatory update therefore an important one, do I need to delete all existing wallet files except wallet.dat in order to do a fresh install of this latest version?  Or should I just go ahead and run the executable, leaving all existing files where they are?  Help would be appreciated thanks,  still fairly new to crypto.  Thanks in advance.  

I would back up your wallet first, just to be safe.

Click File
Click Backup Wallet
Give it a name, such as genxbackup10.3.18, and save it to your USB flash drive or whatever you normally use, hopefully encrypted with Veracrypt or something similar.

Then just download the new wallet like you did the last version, and your coins should show up in the new updated wallet with no problems. Mine did.  

PS. And your private key should've been dumped since day one.

I wounder, can pos terminals add support for a certain payment method or do new pos terminals need to be sold / setup? How do you add genx to a pos terminal? do we use an app that will be supported by some existing terminals ? Just some thoughts i am no expert on payment methods hehe

Thank you. We're not too worried about exchanges yet. Once we have pos and MNs implemented we'll target the larger, established exchanges. We have experience with this process and it shouldn't be an issue. Development has to be the focus for now but we'll certainly be looking proactively next phase.

They are currently listed on tradesatoshi, which is a great exchange. A decent amount of volume going through there.

Plus if you go on too many exchanges, the trading gets spread too thin. A couple of good exchanges is the way to go.

The amount of airdrop per participant for this AD5 is amazingly huge, so much generosity by the team. After the airdrops I was hoping for the next phase of promoting this coin effectively to attract more investors and make the amazing features of this coin to be known. And I agree with the comment above me, too many exchange just makes the traders confused on where to trade which tend to make the trades too thin. Just one to three quality exchange site is enough to make through things well.
