Well I don't think that etherium is done and I do believe that it has a very bright future in the upcoming years and it will reach a very high height of success. This is because since it has started it has gained a lot of popularity among the people all over the world and its demand among the people has also include a lot and all this is evident from the increasing price of ethereum since it has started.

As I know, it's the result of using ETH for almost of ICOs, and the panic sell happens recently. But Ethereum team is still is working hard to develop their new techs. So we don't need to worry that much.

It almost reminds of people always whining about how btc is done.
They've been saying that for the past 9 years and it is still here.

People have been crying about eth since 2014, and it is still here with a huge chunk of the entire crypto marketcap.

The fact is, eth is valuable.
It's value is in the entire infrastructure it has built.

As far as its problems go, hmmmm, ever heard of plasma cash and raiden?
Eth has some of the best blockchain engineers cranking out development for them.
To think that eth will be like btc and never get any significant development done is stupid.
So yeah, don't sell your eth, buy more.

Today, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin had many long tweets explaining about Ethereum state & consensus upgrade from POW to POS.
This idea was first discussed in 2014, but 4 years later, today 2018, this upgrade still not completed yet.

So, it is quite reasonable that some people predicted ETH can drops to $120 even below $100 this year (include CEO of Bitmex Exchange).
