[INFO] Topps Allen & Ginter Reference Thread

I am hoping that Topps makes the cryptocurrency for their refractor cards, I have some of Topps finest refractors from 1993 and they are some of my favorites.

The black mini Crypto cards? Those will continue to appreciate in value for many, many years to come. (After all, it’s the Bitcoin RC.) Especially if we see more crypto-themed cards in the future, such as a 2019 A&G Satoshi Nakamoto base card. *wink* (Looking at you, Topps.)

My guess is they will probably make a few cards with photos of  Andreas  Antonopoulos , and a few others on them.

^ true. many have asked me and many have received.  But telegram is nice due to alerts it gives.  I guess it depends on whether you want to be bothered with yet more phone interruptions.

Topps or any other BIG name card company would use the real image of people, and include autographs and variants.  I look for those to happen. AND I also expect that the ones done by Topps will be infinitely more valuable than those cards. Caricatures won't be as valuable, because they aren't as nice. Simple. Sometimes being the first doesn't translate into being the MOST sought after. They're the first, and they're nice....but it's the BIG names that get the glory and the recognition. Time will tell.

Saw this set of #83's on eBay this morning listed for $1400 and grabbed the photo before it sold:

I will have a grouping of cards coming up later this evening you won't want to miss.  Several #83 mini's including a black mini, #84 undersea preserve yellow printing plate, #84 brooklyn back, #84 no # and black mini, along with black mini's of the solar eclipse and the cyclone bomb.    If anyone has a pack of the crypto community cards they want to sell or trade, I am interested.

Just kidding.  Glad to see all the various cards displayed.  One strange thing I noticed is how light the solar eclipse card is compared to the others. I'll add a picture at some point

^ Answered my own question.  Sold for between 1300 and 1000. Good way to score a black mini now that they've evaporated.

Maybe a handful of glow in the darks 

So there are still plenty of the extremely rare  cards still out there for the treasure hunters
