Either just avoid the headache, or ship his cards on a separate order form with his return address and phone number for payment. And take your payment upfront for the prep and submission.  Smiley

The ginter x box's are a little out of my league.  What crypto cards can you score in the regular retail boxes, I missed all the fun I might pick up a box just dont know which versions of the crypto cards are in the retail ones

There are about 15 or so brooklyn back mini's still out there, probably some glow in the darks, the regular size 1/1 glossy, the wood stock card and some no #'s so that's about it for the extremely rare ones from the ginter hobby box.  Cost is around 100.00 for a box.

I want to make a case for the PSA 10 full-size, all-black Ginter X card.  One sold on ebay recently for around $185.  We all knnow how hard it is to get a 10 in the minis, but think of all the additional real estate on the full-size one!

I'd say whoever bought the one for $185 got a pretty good deal.  I'm seeing even Ohtani and Acuna ones going for $70 bucks, and the crypto cards usually sell for 10x more.

Thanks I've found some boxes for less, I might take a stab at a couple with fingers crossed

If you were really tech savvy, you could do what they call a box break.  That means you sell your interest in the 31 teams plus the non-teams in advance.  Some people would pay a few bucks or so a box for the chance of getting a rare card for their favoirite team.

This would help offset the cost of the boxes and allow you to invest in well - more boxes!  Plus, you wouldn't have to store all the those low-end cards.  Simply mail them to the winners.

Has anyone seen the prices of these lately? Aren't you glad that you bought some? Proves that there is nothing like a FIRST Edition

The seller is optimistic that prices will skyrocket.  Maybe the word got out to the Dodger followers.

Not everyone is a Dodger's fan, they took an idea and were the FIRST to offer it in that arena. It is that concept that's going to make these a sought after "collectable". The word "Crypto" placed on the card doesn't hurt either. Even though the card has nothing to do with digital currency. They were a "give away" item at the Stadium, many threw them out because they had no idea what they were. Just so many were made, many disposed of, so how many remain, and in what condition? Only time will tell. My opinion is that their value will continue to go up to other collectors as time goes on. Especially to L.A. Dodger fans in particular, but they will not be the only ones to seek these. If you haven't already, you may want to think about getting 1 or 2 of them. Some of us were able to get them at $30 or $40 each, almost a year ago, looks like the pool of them is drying up, hence the price increase.  Undecided

Interesting that bomb cyclone is now in the news and it is one of the cards we follow.  The highest selling one i see was an all-black ginter x for $30.00 bucks.  if anyone is interested, i have PSA 10s in these flavors.

Hey crypto card fans Smiley

Looks like there won't be any follow-up to the A&G cryptocurrency cards this year.  Hopefully we will see some crypto related cards in basketball, hockey or football sets in the future.  Keeping my fingers crossed

Best to all and happy treasure hunting

Seems like a stupid move considering how popular the crypto cards are. Do they not look at the secondary market at all?

Agree, but I doubt the manufacturer cares about the secondary market.

If the Topps Company does NOT do a new digital currency follow up, then there will be a gap, meaning that the 2018 is the STAND ALONE ROOKIE cards to the world. Plain and simple. Now, I ask you...just what do you think will happen to the price of these?  LOLO...to-the-bank-we go...la la la la  la *  skipping all the way to the bank...... Grin
