Because it is the easiest way how to gain profit in cryptocurrencies. Holders are very profitable in very long term, while daily traders can loose evrything if they make just one mistake.

You know not every coin gets down on the bottom of market. There is some that kinda balanced. Also falling in price is a normal behaviour of everything in market. Someday it will fall, someday it will rise.

I have bought lots of coins for much higher prices than they cost now,so I don't have too many options and if I don't want to lose my money selling them cheam I have to become a holder.Lots of people do the same way.

Because the rate is extremely low and it is simply not profitable to trade now. so it only remains to wait and hope for the best
it is not profitable to trade afterwards that the price jumps too low and too fast. no matter the price is high or low. trading is always profitable, but unpredictability can make trading not profitable |

Because investors do not have another choice. If your portfolio has lost around 80 percent form the beginning of this year, what else are we supposed to do? Only hope and wait for the next bull run to come as soon as possible.

Not everyone will be able to learn how to trade. This is a very complex process. And a lot of traders trade at a loss. It's certainly good that you get to trade, but some calmer just keep your coins.

This is because, holding looks like the best and most sensible thing to do at the moment. The entire crypto market is almost at ground level with most coins dipping terribly. It is only normal to see everyone maintain their positions and holding unto their tokens/coins. It makes no sense to sell now when it's most certain that you will be selling at a loss. Best option will be to hold and expect a market appreciation before selling if that is still your intention.

I think it all depends on how long you plan on holding your coins. If you have invested in cryptocurrencies for 5 years, then you, for 5 years, can safely forget about your money and come back later and make a profit from your investment.

No offense, but I think holding coins at this bear market doesn't any sense. Why is everyone becoming the crypto holder? From the Legendary to a newbie, most of the people suggest to hold, But why? Yes, I know holding coin may give a bug rewards in future because I was a holder too. I had 15K USD, and my all of USD becomes less than 4K USD in front of my eyes. I just keep checking my wallet and every time my feelings were the same " sucks". Are you holding to be a millionaire like some people who bought bitcoin at 5 USD or less price and sold in more than 10K USD?
I did not hold for lose my capital. Did you? Then why you still holding and losing your money. Please kindly learn to trade. By trading your coins, in this bear market, you can make a lot of money within a few days to months.
I sold my all coins in the last month when bitcoin huts 8400 USD, and then I keep continue trading. In this one month, I made more than 2200 USD Profits. Now I had all of past holding coins with extra 2200 USD Profit.
If you can't trade or if you totally newbie here, then you may keep holding. But at least I suggest learning how to trade. This is my personal opinion. You may follow it or not. Best of luck.

All of us became holders primarily because of the strong fall in cryptocurrency prices. I am sure if this did not happen, the number of holders would not exceed 10% of the inhabitants of the crypto market. |

The truth is that everyone will not be a trader, and some don't even have the time to trade cryptos, majority are seeing cryptos as a long term investment, where you can invest and leave it for years and believe it will grow like bitcoin and the other coins.

Everyone decides to be a holder because right now the market is not in a good situation since most of the coin prices are low and some people doesnt have any idea in trading so they choose to hold it. |
