I have a feeling this coin is going to rise. Thoughts?

Same Market Cap as Vert.  Faster Speed.   This coin is a no brainer.  EXE is way undervalued.  Lots of chatter on troll boxes!!
This coin is a winner.  Id say buy now while it is cheap and relatively unknown.

Same Marketcap as vert Huh What are you talking about ?
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Marketcap here, price drops there .. Both exe and vert are still in their infancy. Who is to say where they will be 6 month from now? I'm holding both and will even buy some whenever i can. When mining isn't proffitable anymore i will still be holding on to both of them, hoping to strike gold in 6-12 month from now. Better chances with these coins than with any other alt, and much bigger chance to win than winning with any lottery!
To the dumpers: remember what happened to vtc when it hit craptsy. If you want to dump then wait till the coin hits craptsy and dump on coinedup as the deposits at craptsy will magically malfunction while pee-brain Vern unloads his coins (when will there be a criminal investigation on this turd?)

getting 170 kh/s on my 7950 is it ok or i should get better rate?
Thats no good. Try
-I 18 -g 1 --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 10240 --gpu-engine 809 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 20,20
(use sapphire trixx to lower Vgpu to 0.875, this should get you 240kh/s and no heat)
Raise gpu-engine to 950 (and Vgpu to 0.97V with trixx) for 270kh/s (and a lot of heat).
There are more agressive settings but at the cost of very high power consumption. I guess you could get 290-300kh/s if you really need to.

(ps: all my mining cards are secondary cards, any monitor would be connected to the igp. If you connect the monitor to the mining card expect hashrate to drop 10-50kh/s and a very unresponsive desktop. Running on win7 64bit)
thank you. I could get 320 kh/s but with vertminer - stable, no HW, but very much heat

..
What are your settings on the 7070xt?
I'm about to get one and would be nice to have the baseline and then tweek from there. Thank you
-g 1 -I 18 --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 10240 --gpu-engine 888 --gpu-memclock 1500
I get 211kh/s with this. Any higher engine clock and the hashrate plummets. I've lowered the Vgpu (with bios mod, VBE) to 0.9V to get more efficiency. (62 HW errors/day..)
Thank you very much for providing these numbers. Do you have an estimate on the power consumption of the card?

I'm running the card together with a 7950 in one system. Combined power usage from the wall is ~320W at ~450kh/s.
The 7870 XT is somewhat less efficient than the 7950 though.
The most efficient setup i have is 2x r9 270x (sapphire dual) running undervolted to 0.9V with 182.5kh/s each at 215W total system power.
A 4 card setup would do 1.875 kh/w @ 400W (3.65kh/w on scrypt).

All dumper are crazy

As soon as the mining dumpers that have to pay for electricity are out of the system the investors can take over. A high network mining hash rate is not important because you can have the same block rate with 1 CPU at low difficulty vs a gazillion quintillion terra has rate at super high difficulty. What is important is to gave the coin in the hands of many investors.  There must be an average hash rate for mining but many exchanges with high volumes of trading for the coin so that there can be liquidity.  The highest risk of a new coin are many miners mining for profit because miners are the dumpers on small exchanges with low volumes causing the value of coins to be low.  Investors know how to work a market so that there is not high volatility and investors know better than to just dump. A new coin must just get through the first few weeks without being killed by profit mining dumpers and Bob's your uncle.

LOL right .....  so I tried the exeminer today and all it does is spam 'Found Block!' and reject shares. No special settings or conf file, just put in the pool details at launch.

Maybe I will come back to it with a later version or something  ;p

I am not sure what to mine right now. Just a few days ago I saw the coin was at 0.0002 now its 0.00006
At this rate all this coin is doing is going down. I am afraid if i start mining it will just keep going on.

The quicker that GPU miners realise that GPU mining is not for profit but for investing the better. Profit mining is something of the past. One now have to identify a coin with future value and mine that. If you have to pay electricity or pay of a mining equipment loan, then I am afraid that is no longer possible on the altcoin space. I am mining Exe not to pay electricity but for the future value - sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. You are welcome to mine something else if you are trying to make up costs, but for the next while the coin value will hover under 0.0001 before it will go up again. If you can wait that long good for you.

There is no such thing as a "profitable coin" anymore. The quicker everyone realises that the better for everyone and for the whole ecosystem.

Ok I'm going to ask again

Has anyone got 280x DUAL-X cards with settings that don't cause hardware errors?  I just can't not seem to eliminate them. I've tried I of 10, 11, 12 and 13. With TC I've tried 8192, 8193, 8191, 6144, 4096.  Now I've read somewhere that TC is usually a multiple of shaders and I have shaders of 2048.  Does using --shaders 2048 make and difference and am I basically guessing if i use any TC inbetween 8192 and 6144 or in face any other TC?

I 've also tried nearly every GPU clock speed in steps of 5 between 970 and 1060 and my GPU1 always gets HW. It doesn't get this when mining Digibyte (scrypt)

I've seen bits about having 4gb of system ram, Would it make much difference going for 8gb?

Guys, try the latest 0.5.4pre2 version of Vertminer: http://www.mediafire.com/download/533i8bag5fu2f2k/VertMiner-0.5.4pre2.7z

Don't set anything but --shaders and intensity, and let it configure itself, and don't forget it's not --scrypt but --Nscrypt.

My line:

vertminer --nscrypt -I 18 --shaders 2560  -o server -u username -p password

I just did a quick test on coinedup to see what was going on. The buy price was at 0.00006689 with a few sell prices between 0.00007 and 0.0009. With 0.25BTC i slowly upped the sell price to 0.000095 and a few small buy prices around 0.000075, but while doing so someone dumped 2000 @ 0.00006689 again.
Clearly some big miner is manipulating the price very low, probably to scare other miners while keeping the difficulty low.
My advice is to mine the coin only if you can afford to keep it longer, and buy low when you can. Be prepared for very low prices while that miner is doing his manipulating.
