Heres my 2 cents..if you look @ Cryptsy historically: EXE is #6 on the Cryptsy vote list right now.... historically Vern adds coins in groups: Mar 7= UTC, MZC,FLAP,TAK... Mar 14 = DGB,SAT,RDD,ZED... Mar 21= ZEIT, POT & CTM ... Mar 22= LYC, KDC...

I say let it be added NATURALLY, which seems to be in the 5-12 day area if Vern keeps up with his coin adding patterns. Just mine it till then & save you're BTC .. but don't let me stop you..I'de just assume get as much of this as possible now while diff is very reasonable.

I don't really like the idea of paid votes, but to show some support I just donated .1 BTC + 1 free vote. Currently at 4466...should be +500 soon.

How many votes those coins had when they were added to the market?
There may be a minimum threshold which coin need to reach to go through.

As of now we have zerxus, jjc6676 and cryptoNerd ready to pay.

Let's see if anybody else would like to join us.
In a few days we'll see how many people are willing to pay and what are the chances of getting there without buying votes.

That I dont know, & is a great question...But if he's adding multiples every 6-7 days, that puts EXE up for listing soon. Either way.. it's an exciting time.

it is very interesting to watch the interaction between value, difficulty, hash rate and mining motive on this coin. I could be wrong but it seems to me that these aspects tell us a story with the following conclusions.

Mining is not for short term profit but investment for long term. The typical cycle of the plethora of coins launched daily is a)hype, b)mining the $%^& out of a coin, c) value goes up due to demand or manipulation, d) miners dump and coin is dead, e) next coin rinse and repeat. The devs for Exe implemented the right measures just at the right time to reduce the risk of this coin following the same fate. I would stick my neck out and say that most miners are there for short term profit making to cover electricity, perhaps paying of mining rigs and making money aka get-rich-quick. Lets call these miners the pump-and-dumpers or profit hoard. As soon as profit hoard gets onto a coin and the measures are not in place, a coin is doomed. There is no arms race for Exe, simply because it is irrelevant. It was interesting to note that the hash rate and difficulty went up over the last few days when the value went up, but then the value consolidated but at a slightly higher level than before the rush. With the consolidation in value the profit hoard seems to have moved back to where they came from and difficulty moved back from 8 to 5. The current miners around 5 difficulty seems to be the ones that can see the future value of the coin. I don't mind making losses on electricity because I do my calculations on future value. I will carry the electricity losses for another year or two or three if needed. We will see each time the value increases, an increase in hash rate before the value stabilises at the next level and then when the profit hoard see there is no get-rich-quick they move back to the other coins. Each time the devs add another building block to the coin that the market likes, we will see the coin value consolidate at a slightly higher level. The hoard will come and then move back again - the price will spike and move back to the new level and so on. The fast processing of transactions with this coin adds the most value imo. When you do transactions, especially at merchants you need the transaction to be processes and confirmed quickly as a customer does not want to wait.  This aspect of the coin imo will prove it to be very much suitable for general daily use. Normal transaction speeds at a retailer when using a bank and fiat is between milliseconds to a few seconds. No digital coin will be that fast, but we also cannot wait 10-15 minutes either and this is where Exe fills the gap neatly as it is not milliseconds but also not several minutes. Add the protective measures of resistance to the profit hoard and you have a potential winner. A coin does not need a high number of processors and it is not necessary to have a high difficulty and the current level of 5 is perfectly fine because block processing is constant irrespective of hashing power or difficulty levels. Of course it is good to have it diluted as far as possible to prevent a 51% attack but as long as you are diluted to acceptable levels it is fine. Difficulty is in fact there to prevent an arms race and provide the correct balance in the ecosystem. We are seeing less volatility in the Exe value imo due to the profit hoard being less involved in the coin. Less volatility is good for the investors.

Doing a swot analysis it is clear that the threats are mostly external events like regulation, catastrophic event or artificial manipulation. There are lots of opportunities and strengths which is what the devs and the community must focus on. The devs must remain innovative and the Exe community must support the devs. Following this approach will realise the required long term rewards. I would place a large exchange in both the external threats and opportunity quadrants. There is a risk of superficial increase in value on a large exchange that could attract the profit hoard, however, some of the strengths like the algorithm, KGW will hopefully counter that. A large exchange is also an opportunity because it will provide a base for wider circulation. A large exchange is however not the most important thing - if it happens great and if it doesnt then also ok, but it will happen eventually. When it does happen the devs must be sure that the foundation and measures are in place to counter the threat aspects of a large exchange. A wide base will also come naturally as GPU miners realise that the future for GPU processing is in scrypt-n processing.

Miners will at some point or another realise that there is no get-rich-quick in mining. Any get-rich-quick is limited to the scam coins and those that are in early will make some money before that coin dies - get-rich-quick behaviour is not sustainable and a coin subject to that will die as it works against healthy market principles. No, mining is there just to support the ecosystem do the processing and bring new coins into circulation based on the block reward rate. Mining provides perhaps 10% maybe 20% ROI in the short term if you are lucky and higher in the long term, which will naturally push the profit hoard out of the equation. Select your coins carefully based on the inherent foundation, characteristics and building blocks of a coin and mine accordingly.  At some point retail will realise the value in the quick transaction speed of Exe and that will make it more suitable for retail than Vert. In the meantime the devs must carry on with their good work behind the scenes and us as the community must support them and be responsible with our market actions while we wait for the coin to come of age.

We need 10000 votes to get in front of the line on Cryptsy (https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes).

10000 votes cost BTC2.

Let's do some crowd funding.
I personally would pay BTC0.1 to push it to Cryptsy.
We need 19 or more volunteers.

We'll transfer these money to dev team and ask them to pay Cryptsy.
After this is done it would be easier to push it to Chinese markets as well and the rate will increase significantly.
Everybody will benefit from it.

Please reply to this post if you'd like to join me.

I am also in, ready to donate 0.2 BTC.

So what are the devs doing? We haven't heard any updates in several days and questions for them on the subreddit are going unanswered.

Agreed, this is pretty frustrating.  They need to be all over those questions.

Don't worry. Since the coin was launched the devs showed full support and were constantly improving something.
I'm pretty sure if they are not active in this thread they will come up with something new very soon.

I love exe coin!!! It has been rough 30 days and this coin continue to successfully survive in the cruel crypto world!
Current price remains low, but I am confident it will skyrocket by the end of 2014...predicting +$2.00
I would like to ask the devs to communicate more often with the community through this forum. We need to know what are their next steps to get this coin better.
We need to  attract investors  somehow...some coins have games, sites, own exchanges to attract attention. What execoin can bring to the table? There are dozen of N-scrypt coins coming/already launched..so we need more valuable features to stay ahead of the game!
