There is no coin-limit on Energi because the treasury and masternode allocation are essential to Energi’s survival, and are essentially the engine behind Energi - and we do not see a reason to give Energi a “death sentence” by removing its engine, even hundreds of years from now. I've spent quite a bit of time reviewing the project, and i understand almost all of it EXCEPT with as you say " There is no coin-limit on Energi  "
Then this project is not much different than the U.S. Dollar which is controlled by the federal reserve and they make more as needed.
The concern here is a DELUTION of the actual value as needed.  Even Dash which is a great project atleast has a limitation @ 18,900 total supply
Your project has come in a time when everyone will over scrutinize much more than ever due to how much many of us lost this time last year.

It would be great to have an affordable masternode early on, but at this point the project is just to costly to risk @ $10K for a masternode.
*** There's Still The #1 Question I haven't found the answer to throughout my checking into this - which i seek from all projects.

The U.S. dollar supply is controlled by the federal reserve - they can print whatever amount they want. Energi's inflation is clear and transparent to all, and will always be 1 million NRG per month. This is very calculated and carefully designed. Our philosophy is, every dollar we reinvest into the system, will yield much more than a dollar of value back when invested appropriately with developers, the best marketing efforts, and other expenditures which expand our reach.

The future of cryptocurrency as we see it, will be large scale organizations with massive amounts of developers comparable to large tech companies such as Microsoft. These companies aren't going to be "perfect" at a certain point. Good businesses stick around for hundreds of years and funding is needed throughout their life. Constant funding will be needed to pay for developers, user protections, business development arms, operations management, marketing & advertising, continuing education, and all other types of expenses that large scale organizations have. Having a constant 1 million NRG per month (with a large portion of that going towards the treasury) allows for continuous funding - indefinitely.

It's also important to note that the inflation % will go down over time as 1 million NRG per month will become less and less of the total supply.

Energi had no premine and prior to launch we gave a specific time and date for the launch of our main net which our vibrant community eagerly awaited so that mining could begin fairly, avoiding centralization among the coin founders.

why is the cryptopia deposit closed?

Energi recently experienced a (largely unsuccessful) 51% attack last week. You can read more about that in our telegram announcement channel (https://t.me/energiannouncements) or Discord https://discordapp.com/invite/sCtgNC3. Because of this, Cryptopia temporarily closed deposits/withdrawals and the team is working with them to bring things back to normal. CryptoBridge and Coinexchange are still open, but in the short term many confirmations are necessary so expect very long transfers at the moment if you choose to use those.

The primary role of Energi masternodes is voting rights and governance to the blockchain network. Governance is the foundation of any long lasting enterprise. 10,000 NRG are needed to run a masternode. Masternodes can vote where Energi from the treasury is directed, as well as receive significant dividend payments.
