I know their is a guide for setting up a staking wallet on a vps which is pretty cool but you have to have your funds on that vps password protected and encrypted. What would be really cool is a way to stake similar to a masternode with funds safe in your cold wallet and offline.

I'm really liking what you are doing with your charity, Energi Impact.  

Currently they are focused on environmental aspects and also social impacts. They seem to be consistently beach cleaning, helping orphanages in Indonesia and recently they started a new campaign.

Energi has no control over what happens or doesn't happen on DigiFinex in regards to trading.  As you say, it is your opinion based on your research, and we of course would advise everyone to always do their own research and not depend on here say to come to a conclusion.

Moreover, allocating 10% of coins to a mysterious "backbone" leaves the cryptocurrency vulnerable to exploits (what will prevent the founder from cashing out? what happened to the ideal of decentrality?).

NRG is being delisted from Crypto Bridge on the 25th of november. I can help you out withdraw your coins from CryptoBridge for a fee through another solution. Minimal trust involved, not full trust of your assets. That in case you don't find another solution. Same for everybody else that has problems. As they are delaying KYC's and doing everything in their power to keep the coins so they can dump after that. All I ask is a fee and a review so I can help more people. I have read the whole of the article and this is not an interesting update. I can understand the vision of Energi is still following what already stated in the WP but the fact that the climate in the cryptocurrency business has already changed. Smartcontract idea is a good update for me personally but again, so many smartcontracts platforms already exist and this makes the creation of the new smartcontract will be a little bit useless. Why the team is not searching a new innovation to be used as the main update.

Oh, you did receive the earndrop? Good for you. Well, honestly speaking, I would sell it right away because normal price action after an earndrop (airdrop) was that it always decline in a continuous pattern. I'd take profit for that and move on. But, you must always think that you must NOT listen to any investing advice here in the internet. You just need to check yourself and ask if you really need to hold it or sell it and use that BTC into something more useful (more profitable).

actually i saw my friends that joined at the same time which is phase 4 but he already received their airdrop
but after i check my email i saw their email that says my KYC is declined so i request the second appeal

I read about Energy Gen 3 as being very interesting, but it is unfortunate that the release schedule has to be postponed until February 2020. And has earndrop round 4 already been distributed? I'm waiting for the NRG price dump.
