to be honest if for bitcoingold I'm not sure of having a bright future like bitcoin. mesikpun bitcoingold results from a bitcoin fork or almost has similarities but I think that is impossible. bitcoingold is still bitcoingold, bitcoin is still bitcoin. so bitcoin cannot be compared with others including bitcoingold.

I don't think any bitcoin fork has a future. Bitcoin is only one and these forks are just quick get rich schemes for me.

Bitcoin Gold seems to have a solid development team, as it has managed to quickly implement an ASIC-resistant algorithm after the release of Bitmain's miners for Equihash. If it remains a GPU-only mineable coin, then it would be much more decentralized in the mining process than both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. However, its success will only depend on the level of adoption it would experience in the mainstream world. Considering that it has all the same features as Bitcoin, with the differences being an ASIC-resistant algorithm and better privacy, it could be well worth the investment after all. Nonetheless, do you think Bitcoin Gold (BTG) will have a future or not?  Honestly, I don't believe in that. From a legend that costs ~400$ , falls ~8$ , I think the community has lost faith completely with BTG. There must be some miracle to save BTG. |

That drop was fast and hard, and I don`t believe that bitcoin gold can recover from that, maybe in couple years. Did you hear about btc2, they are doing a nice work, their idea is to make anonymous coin, with zero protocol, they are doing just fine, when you consider that they came out in very bad time, their starting price was very low, but they are holding and they are making some progress. Nice about btc2 is that its staking coin, you can download btc2 wallet buy some btc2 coins and stake it. |

in 2019 it cannot be predicted exactly how the development of cryptocurrency, if the development of cryptocurrency is very good and can be accepted as one of the solutions to payment or transaction security, cryptocurrency can become famous and possibly will affect the price of cryptocurrency. |

I am sure BTG has a good future. We can see BTG growth despite a very sharp decline. Now BTG can slowly rise again. The development team continues to work hard and keeps this BTG developing. And maybe in the future like Bitcoin.

Me neither. In fact, I've became more hesitant from investing into Bitcoin forks as a result of their uncertainty. They may have good features and all, but they lack a real purpose in life. Everything started with Bitcoin Cash with the only hope of making Bitcoin scalable as a cryptocurrency for the masses. Then, other forks started to emerge with ambitions of greed than to make a unique project that stands among the crowd. Bitcoin Gold being one of the first Bitcoin forks in existence, has been slowly declining in price. With numerous alternatives available on the market which provide the same privacy features and ASIC resistance as BTG, the future of Bitcoin Gold as a cryptocurrency is becoming uncertain. With this, I believe that only one true Bitcoin shall emerge victorious in the end. This means that Bitcoin forks will disappear, leaving only Bitcoin and other major altcoins as serious cryptocurrencies for the world. Nonetheless, everything in crypto land is uncertain. Which means, that BTG could either live or die altogether in the future. Just my opinion |

Using GPU as a main mining process is one thing that makes btg look decentralized, but has a very easy way to get attacked which also happened just of recent, but we need only be optimistic about bitcoin forked coin to at least adding some percentage to our trading as adoption may not be that strong to make it surge higher like bitcoin but I still believe some will adopt it as a good coin and to them it will have a very significant future.

Bitcoin forks such as bitcoin gold currently have good development even though they are in the top 30 in market capitalization, although many think BTG is only a fork and lacks a future, but when the mother gives an increase BTG also experiences good improvement. Although the price is affordable but as a springboard to have a start there is also no problem.

BTG project, which in general today has no chance to find its niche in cryptocurrency. I am more than confident that cryptocurrencies definitely do not accept BTG as cryptocurrency and they do not understand that BTG is a scam project.

I personally have been trading for several days using BTG to make a profit. And in my opinion, BTG still has great potential and in the future, this coin will be more developed.
Everything will depend on how many people will adopt BTG as an alternative medium of exchange relative to Fiat. While Bitcoin Gold is not as popular as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other leading cryptocurrencies, it's still has a friendly community and active development team behind it. Being a Bitcoin fork itself, it doesn't bring much enthusiasm from the public. However, if BTG stands to be a highly innovative cryptocurrency, its future will be bright for sure. Nonetheless, no one really knows what will happen in the future with any cryptocurrency (not limited to BTG only). As far as the market can tell, BTG is losing traction each day while other cryptocurrencies have retained their position within the crypto space. Without adoption, it'll struggle to stay on top of the most popular cryptocurrencies by market cap. Hence, it's not about the technical aspects of a cryptocurrency to succeed, but rather how it's being used in the mainstream world. Just my thoughts  |
