Big big big big dissappointment from Liverpoo tonight, I thought they would have an easy win against Red Star of Belgrade. This will be not good for their moral for the next game in EPL. Good win for Brugge on the other hand which I didn't see it coming either. 0 points for me in these two games.

Everyone in our pool got 0 points in both games, lol. Pretty sure the amount of people that would get something from these two are very few.

Disappointing by Liverpool, for sure. But remember that they got 4-0 at home so they were probably thinking it'd be easy pickings here without too much to worry about. I think they'll bounce right back in the next round

I guess you are right, they have took this game easily because they thought they would be repeating a nice win there too. Personally I am in the side bet with the team to go further and mine is not Liverpool so I am not that much concerned, it was just that I was surprised when opened up flashscore and saw the result.

Pretty much everyone in LFC had an off day or were arrogant. There were no bright spots anywhere on the pitch and I watched the game from start to finish. Just one of those games, Red star played their hearts out and once again their home crowd prevails

Looking at my scores this morning I thought I had done particularly bad, and then noticed I'd moved up one place in the league.

According to Superbru only 0.7% of the community predicted Red Star Belgrade to win, with only 0.07% predicting the correct score. Only 3.6% of the community predicted Club Brugge to win, with less than 0.01% predicting the correct score. Now I don't feel so bad about all these red zeros I'm seeing.

Do I have to pick new club for the side bet or I can choose any that was already picked like Barca Real City etc I guess it's possible if one team have multiple winners the pot could be split between them.

Congrats to tokeweed and hahay who managed to predict correct results of 5 mathes this round. But nobody can beat Trofo who managed to collect 28 points in previous round. This week was very close and most of players collected similar number of points this time. And there was 3 matches - Monaco-Brugge, Crvena Zvezda - Liverpool, Juve - MU where all palyers got 0 points for their predictions

I was the only player with the balls to go for a five nil win to Manchester City and then they want and scored the sixth in injury time. Absolute bastards. That penalty was comical. Sterling should have owned up and told the ref it wasn't a penalty, though it's rare you get sportmanlike behaviour in football (thought I've seen it happen before).

Only one correct score on the Napoli PSG game. Quite a few upsets really. Nobody back Liverpool or Monaco to lose.

Had an eight-fold accumulator on last night and they all came in apart from Ronaldo to score and Juve to win and that was of course all true until the 86th minute  . I don't know what Jose was smug about because they didn't deserve the win and the winning goal was a shambles. I think that's what the Juve players were trying to tell him before he got whisked off by security of whatever it was.



If/when he gets sacked I'm sure many people will be doing that 'salute' haha.

Not taking anything away from the win, I think they only need to beat Young Boys (lol) to qualify now but that guy is a jerk.

He still should have known better. Being a gloating dick after a victory is just as bad as being a sore loser to be honest and he could have handled this a lot better.

I don't think it's strange if Mourinho does that, Mourinho has made bad behavior several times as a coach and he should be able to be a better example as a coach with the title he has "the special one", but with his bad behavior I personally didn't like him for a long time.

Apparently the Juve fans were insulting him all match so maybe that's was why he did what he did. He can speak many languages including Italian. Makes sense if you think about it. Pretty much a visual representation of you're not singing any more. He's said he wouldn't do it again though haha so probably learned his lesson.

^  Dunno...  I think it could be a draw or a match under 3 goals.  Mou is so pragmatic, he won't mind parking the bus to get a draw or get a shot in on the counter (and then park the bus) in big games.

Some big name injuries affecting a few teams over the coming games. Looks like Barcelona will be missing Suarez, Cillessen and Arthur, although Coutinho will be fit again. Manchester City are obviously still down De Bruyne, Otamendi and Mendy, but it looks like Gundogan and Bernado Silva are also injured now. Mane is in doubt for Liverpool due to an illness.

I'm sure this will come back to bite me, but I'm changing my Man United prediction following them struggling to hold on to a point versus Palace at home this weekend.

Barca currently have lot of problems with injuries. You mentioned only few players, Rafinha suffered ACL injury and season ended for him. Also Rakitic and Roberto will not play. It's chance for players like Dembele and Malcom to show themselves. The main problem in RB position where only Semedo can play now. We will see strange squad of Barca, but I think they can beat PSV easily without these players.
Liverpool now is in 1st place in their group, but it's very close fight in this group and every point matters right now.
I'm going to follow Roma - Real match tonight. In first round Real won easily, but now it will be see interesting to watch how Real players will react after big loss to Eibar.
And I had terrible recent weeks in EPL predictor, I hope to perform a bit better in UCL pool now

Put my picks in today, for the first time predicting the same results as I am with actual betting on parlays, so that's backing a few of the tight favourites along with the heavyweights... Real, Ajax, CSKA, Juventus.

Fully expecting both Manchester clubs to win but outright odds not attractive so put in cheeky bets on Lyon and Young Boys. I recall the first leg where the Swiss gave a good account of themselves... And with Mou's boys usually folding after getting thrown under buses, which are then used to park in front of goal... So who knows?

Will watch that game to hopefully get my 12/1 bet=p

Nice, I climbed up 2 positions on the leaderboard, but it looks like tokeweed still managed to get his picks on point. Just feel cheated to predict a Lyon draw but it became 2-2 in the last 10 minutes. I guess I should be thankful it didn't stay at 2-1.

And stupid United only scored 1 goal, last minute too. Tough to predict, only oleo and hahay got 2 exact scores (thank you Ajax for giving me mine) but I am happy to be catching up so far!
