No one can say with accuracy if and when the market will recover, we can only hope for the recovery, I think the biggest problem is due to the fact in the too high number of scam coins that were born and that are being born every day.
People are losing confidence in the cryptomarket because of these continuous scams, probably (my point of view) if the market is regulated with at least some mandatory kyc for the team of ico, people would be more inclined to invest again.
All of this obvius has repercussions on the value of the bitcoin, because we can say it, it is who commands, the greater the value of the bitcoin is, the greater the value of the altcoin are and the more people invest in the market.
This is just a temporarily in a market but there are possibilities to recover again due to it's unstable prices anf no one whi controls in prices.

What's the general feeling about some of the altcoins that have dropped in value considerably such as TRON, district0x, Cardano and SiberianChervonets.
I've been HODLing these for a while hoping they will recover but their value seems to be getting even lower. With new coins being launched daily, is it likely that these will ever recover?

A good Altcoin will certainly be able to recover. Current market conditions make almost all coins fall and have a low price. I think the situation will last a long time, even though it still has the potential to decrease again. However, I am optimistic that the market will recover.

If they have a good roadmap and people supporting them because of their continuous development, yes they will recover, we are just in the bear trend, because of the pending SEC application once approved we will have a long bull run, hopefully, it will happen.

Well the value of the altcoins are dependent on the value of bitcoin so as long as bitcoin recovers in value then all of the altcoins will recover their value too. Really it is just a matter of time. It might take a long time and we might all end up waiting for longer than we have anticipated but the fact is that the value of the coins will recover at some point.
Correct, althought not for each altcoin but it's the basic thing usually happening. Mostly altcoin price movements are influenced by bitcoin. Indeed rarely see the price of altcoin falling when the price of bitcoin is soaring. That's why many people hope that bitcoin need to rise firstly.

Crazy bearish has created a bad influence on all altcoins, bitcoin short volatility makes the market unclear and red.

the market will recover again, but it will take a long time, unless bitcoin surprises us, because bitcoin is always uptrend without our predictions.

I think it is possible, I mean, crisis like this are normal, especially when dealing with cryptocurrencies, the recovery may take several years though.

I think the dropped in price affected all the coins in the market and no coin is an exception, so i think when the bull run comes most the coins will recover so quick and most won't recover again

Don't support this opinion, I suppose that value determines the coin and coin can't determines its value. I am not sure in it at all, but this side can be here too.

I think that, yes, altcoins should be restored and will do it much faster due to a small capitalization, because usually it happened when the market just took and was restored, I think that this time it will be the same.

I have no doubt that at least the solid altcoins like STRAT and ETH will not just recover but they will have a spring like you've never seen before. This is the moment when you should take your time and re-evaluate your portfolio. Put your holdings in projects with hard-working teams and working products and not in vain promises made by some so called "smart guys". Good luck!  Wink

I think the main reason of their downfall is due to the bearish market we had. Those can recover once the market stabilize to push the price higher. You had a good choice of those projects it just need enough time for them to recover.

I think it will, eventually. But this recovery needs a time. How much? No one knows exactly. But I believe that crypto will back at its position once after the people globally start to use it in the everyday life.

Tron and ADA cost billions of dollars but doesn't have any useful products) Just two teams of clever Asian guys that promised something that nobody fully understands) IMHO future for the new coins and BTC;).

Yes, it's true I believe that altcoins will recover their value in the near future, but not all altcoins will recover. The coin that will start its value is a coin that has good quality and good body.

I think this downtrend is a test to evaluate any project that is really worth. If the project is really good, it will overcome this difficult period and have a strong revival. In my opinion, TRON, district0x, Cardano are good projects, have been used in real applications. So I think it will soon recover.

surely it will happen, but it may take a long time to recover their value because there are many declining factors and this is very long. so we have to be patient and survive in holding the altcoins that we have until everything returns to normal.

I agree, we already observed this last year. To date, most altcoins have lost about 90% of their value relative to the dollar. And for many projects this is deadly, because they are technologically useless and no one will buy them. But there are projects that have a real value and they will restore their price and even more. I think this will not happen this year, too much was a fall. But in 2020, this may well happen together with the massive introduction of cryptocurrency into the real sector of the economy.

Eventually, the good alt coins will recover their prices, while the not so good projects will struggle to get anywhere close to their initial prices unless of course they implement the pump and dump method, but this will not be sustainable and people will only get to lose their funds.
