YACoin withdrawal fee is 5 YAC How about dropping it to some reasonable value now when YAC trading is closed? Isn't that like 15 cents? It is 5000% up or more from default YACoin transaction fee. Do you know how much time it takes to mine 5 YAC? Few days with one average GPU. then why do you mine "few days" for 15 cents? Because it's there? okaaaaay sounds really smart to pay some dollars energy bill for 5 YACs worth 15 cent. we need more people like this! dont think or calculate. just do it!

For many it's a hobby and pastime. Calculation is needed, but the dollar value is largely irrelevant.

a very expensive hobby i think. ok many other hobbies are also expensive. i know its fun playing with new technology and trying whats possible or not. but for the exchanges its not a hobby but business with a lot of work. so i think 5 YAC are ok. it doesnt matter how hard they are earned. on the other hand its very sad that vircurex stops YAC trading. YAC is gettin attention the last days

I am staying because vircurex' customer service has been good.

Would you think the withdrawal fee is too high?
For BTC, definitely. This is the one reason I'm constantly looking for an alternative exchange (although I haven't found a suitable one so far). I mainly use Vircurex to convert the altcoins I mine to BTC. Even if I go an entire month without making a withdrawal, I still pay more withdrawal fees than trading fees... Absolutely! Kumala please consider reducing withdrawal fees for BTC at least, they are too high in comparison to other exchanges! For example: btc-e 0.001 BTC, cryptsy 0.001 BTC, bter 0.001 BTC, mcxnow 0.005 BTC and vircurex 0.01 BTC! You are losing competitive position... And what about this? I thought main profit for the exchange comes from trading fees, not withdrawal fees. Ahh nevermind, don't listen to your customers.

Does anyone know how to get the minimum transaction sizes? Looks like it's around 0.018 for NMC/BTC which makes me think it's something different for every single currency pair.

Thats good that the fees gets more resonable at (some of) the altcoins. But what really would be more interesting to know is, why do you have such unrealistickly high fees on BTC withdrawals on both Vircurex and Cryptostocks site and when are you going to reduse them ? 0,01 BTC is just a joke when other sites have no fees at all or maby 1/10 at most of what you charge. Also for those people that transfer in (and out) lots of BTC at a time there really isen't any need to charge them any fees at all, those fees are only needed for those that transfers small amounts of BTC ofthen. So make the fees optional, then those that think they need to pay a small fee for there small transfers to go throu the network in resonable time can do so ? Does anyone know how to get the minimum transaction sizes? Looks like it's around 0.018 for NMC/BTC which makes me think it's something different for every single currency pair.
No ide, it dosen't looke like one can find any FAQ page at Vircurex vithout logging in on there site, maby there isen't one even then....

The withdrawal page says 0.1 for all four coins. The 0.01 is a typing mistake, it should say 0.1. But we will stick with the announcement and reduce the actual fees to 0.01.

We're sorry, but something went wrong.
We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly. Couldn't cope with the XPM rush?
