You're on the wrong fork. Review the thread to load my blockchain, etc.

On another pool, I'm seeing the last block found as 256000.

This seems right. As far as I know there is only the "old" and "new" forks. Thank goodness there aren't more than two

While we are very grateful that you did indeed update your client to the new available daemon; we do believe that you are on the old fork. As of this writing the correct GalaxyCoin 2.0 fork is now at block 256403 with a difficulty of 0.95~ while your website current shows a difficulty of 6.09~. (Pulling information from here: https://www.cryptsy.com/currencies/view/62)

So, we have made it easy for folks to get on the new fork:

• We uploaded the correct blockchain (to around the 252,000~ block) to a website which you can download here: http://galaxypool.chriskoeber.com/galaxycoinblockchain.zip
  
  • Extract the entire contents of the zip file into your GalaxyCoin 2.0 data directory and you should be able to sync fine.
• We have verified addnodes on that page you can use here on the first page of the BitCoinTalk.org thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495693

We believe once that is done we should have everything good to go.

It's due to the fact that the fork did break a little bit of the infrastructure that we had.

Once the exchange issues are fixed and most folks are on the new fork then we can look into promoting this coin and get people interested again.

We should also look into adding new features, etc. that won't require a fork such as a Mac-wallet, etc.

But, we do ask for your patience for the time being.

Still needs to be tested on more platforms though so feedback and testing welcome.

Still waiting on Cryptsy to update their wallet.

In the meantime I will look into seeing how hard/easy it is to get a Mac Wallet going.

If anyone has any non-forking suggestions for this coin that would be welcome as well.

I do know they are working on it because the ticket I sent to them was updated a few times but not with a resolution yet.
