I'd invest to ETH rather than Ripple.

I don't hold any amount of Ripple and if there are people who are very optimistic with Ripple, people who are holding ETH are very much optimistic as well. But what I don't like with XRP, is they are not decentralized and the bigger portion of their holdings are on their heads. I mean those developers.

Ripple is a great solution for banks. It is a product of a corporation. XRp could be or could be not used in this blockchain. We should start to separate the cryptocurrencies by functions. XRP doesn't compete against ETH. They are not in the same market. In fact, we could say that XRP is not a cryptocurrency because it has centralized control.

If you want to see what will value more in the middle term, you should check their roadmaps. I would say that ETH would probably worth the double because Casper will be launched this year.

The problem with ripple is that many people cannot really rely on them. There has been extensive number of controversies around them and they have failed to provide any valid proof against it. So, I would definitely love to choose ETH over Ripple anyday. I still believe there is a lot of room available for ETH to bounce back into the market.

Many people start to invest in Ripple instead of Ethereum. These 2 giants are fighting for the second and third place in the list. What do you think is wise to invest to?

Ripple of Ethereum?
Check out the charts in the past and make up your mind:

Ripple: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ripple
Ethereum: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ethereum

Ripple is being manipulated by its bank partners, they can control the movement of this coin.

Ethereum very popular coin, being used as platform by almost all ICOs that coming in the market. Have a big chance of doubling your money if you invest right now.

I think good to invest on both, as they said "Don't invest all your money in just one basket"

Hi Friends,
both have advantages that are very useful for us.
Ethereum, specifically designed to be an open smart contract. Transactions made on the blockchain can execute a smart contract in various ways, for example by sending digital currency or data to the contract address. If successfully executed, the smart contract can process more transactions or execute other smart contracts. Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), a software that developers can use to make various applications as easy as making crypto transaction-based applications. With the concept offered, developers don't need to create and manage their own blockchain.
As for Ripple, one advantage offered is an easy process for exchanging into local currency. Ripple technology facilitates the exchange of XRP with various currencies in the world, even including Bitcoin. This is because Ripple has been integrated with banking services in the world. At present it is one of the cornerstones of remittance revolution or money transfer between countries.
That way, both of them have a very good investment power. and have a good future.

Firstly they are two very different project and one is a platform based token. And one is realised to money transfer and banking they both are good even the best and most popular on their category. They hold a good position in the market. But if you ask me I always go for eth. I know eth have some problem and if you see technically now we have better coin than ethereum as a platform token but eth is most easy and popular among people. And it's fully decentralised and etc. But when it's come to ripple it's not fully - decentralised it's like half centralised. And it will be backed up by bank so they will manipulate the price. That's why I always choice eth.

If I were in your shoes I would definitely go with Ethereum. Ripple for me personally has been such a disappointing investment, I thought it would really go but to today its still struggling to keep up. Ethereum on the other hand, in my opinion has much more promise.

I never compare ethereum with ripple, because I think this two have really different features from eachothers.

I think ethereum is a very strong and promising coin, but I think ripple has never had these features.

The thing that I don't like about the ripple, it's centralized and controlled by the bank, and for this reason, I choose ethereum rather than ripple, XRP might be good either cheaper and faster but as an investment I'll go with ethereum. Additionally, ethereum always give me profit and from what I've seen people keep buying it because of it so popular and used widely as a smart contract platform.

If you are given two choices between Ethereum and Riplle, I am more interested in Ethereum, my reason is because ethereum has more volatility, high prices but is affordable, and has a pretty good future. Even though ethereum's price has now dropped, I am still optimistic that ethereum prices will recover

Ethereum price will stay at this moment i think after the bitcoin stay also in the fixed can reach for this year ethereum can rise their price.

Ripple are supported by the whole team members because the developers of ripple want to make legacy, not possible ripple increase their value in near future.

For long term investment, I will choose ETH because it is ranked higher, got more transactions and much more stable product than ripple. But if I am doing swing trading, I will have both of them to take advantage of the movement of their respective prices.

There are doubts about Ripple being centralized and there are various of incidents where Ripple have managed to act as a centralized coin rather than the decentralized cryptos that we are fascinating over. So, the safest bet would be to go for ETH is such situation.

I would choose none of them to be honest. Ripple don't really have a good reputation among the crypto community or the investors and after the recent slump, ETH is showing no sign of recovering in coming days so I am still doubtful about the future of Ethereum. It's a really tough decision to make.

Although I have strong confidence in Ethereum, but going by the current market situation, I will prefer investing in Ripple. I am sure of profit returns in ripple than ethereum.

ETH by far for me. I personally doubt Ripple will ever get back to it's ATH, can't ever see banks using the coin.

Ripple will not be in a good position as the number of specialists say and ETH isn't so dependable now however its esteem is still high which makes it extremely encouraging for contributing today as well. So I am with ETH.
