be careful before joining the project and of course you know everything first, to avoid bad things. lots of evil coins and fraud, so you will be trapped if you are not careful. a lot of ICO fraud but not all ICOs are bad, you have to be careful and find out more so you can succeed.

Big bonuses, airdrop and bounty contributes to the price drop when a token is listed in an exchange, some traders will take this opportunity to even lower the price just to fill there bags if they feel that the token is worth holding.

This could be possible if the project did airdrops and bounty or ridiculous bonuses  but what do you say of projects like ONeledge, Fantom, Atonomi, Eden to mention few, that started dumping immediately when it enters the exchanges. Most of the time that what's  happen, most of those ico coins who has been successfully added/listed around exchange are being dumped for some reasons that the presale holders and some of those bounty hunters who already have their coins will not wait any longer, so if you have a good glimpse from any project that you think will become usable better to buy it when it is already inside the exchange and wait for the dev to bring it up and start supporting their project.

It really is discouraging to see that the ico we invested drops after being listed on exchanges. But we have to be optimistic about what the team is doing and not just our greed of profit. Sure in this year when i participate in icos, i always lose my money because when the ico hit first CEX the price of that token always below than ico price. I think it's normal because bear market still not over and all coins are decrease too.

It's normal for a new ICO to drop in monetary value once it gets listed. Early ICO investors and bounty hunters rush on selling their holdings once it gets listed because they want to earn instant money from it. Only ICOs with good product and foundations recover from this.
