Ofcourse it is!

Nowadays, I notice most of bounties have strick rules, making bounties more organize and I like that Bounty Manager requesting Proof of Authentication to limit scammer .

It's been one of major mistakes of bounty hunter like me not to read rules and requirements of each bounties ending up not getting stakes so it's very important to read and understand each rules to ensure that we're doing the right thing and not wasting our time and effort.

Well, you are idiot if you don't read the instruction first. Just imagine, you applying in one specific job without any knowledge about the qualification of the company. So it will be wasted opportunity as well, that is common here in bitcointalk.org if you failed applying in one bounty campaign.

Also, they need to do that restriction to make sure that you are able and deserving to that position. They avoid multiple accounts and idiot bounty hunter to provide a good marketing quality.  Just put your self in that situation, hiring non sense team that have a bad records like posting a awkward comments... so sort like that.

Joining in one campaign is a great experience, so always do your best and be responsible as well. You earn while learning for sure!

Good luck folks!

Its really necessary to read, understand and follow the rules of each bounty campaigns. It will be the basis for them if they will kick you or not. Following the rules inside the bounty makes the campaign going smoothly without it possible that there are lots of misunderstanding occur. However if you will disobey and be ignorant in following rules their rules then you are not deserve to be their member.

Bounty managers pay you for job you do for them, this is not a charity. And they can ask for any specific rules they want to feel comfortable and know they will get what they want in the end. Your choice is to participate or not.

We have seen in the latest months that there a lot of cheaters in the bounty campaigns. To prevent this is it necessary to use strict rules in bounties.

not the manager who pays bounty bouty hunter, we have to know that. all that we can pay it came from a team project. strict rules were to demonstrate the capacity of the bounty hunter. because if regulations bounty loose I guess it will be the same only the things that are not useful.

If every bounty manager in ico they reviewed a project before promoting or releasing it. They always think that if this is legit or not good or bad will be the outcome Because they dont care about their participants.
Because the bounty manager is always hoping to earn with the project he will be releasing and domt care for others.

Just like the Government that we have, rules are implemented for orderliness and to give justice for those who were victims of scammers, and other forms of dishonesty and cheating.

They are already strict rules here and every manager is trying to strive hard so that they can filter out the scammers form everywhere. I guess this is very important step because it can also benefit the ICO publishing itself by the real persons and not the same person with the multiple accounts. This can lead to the dropped impressions of organic crowds and thus may affect the ICO sales directly and indirectly. Your statement is very short but I believe that its important thing that you have mentioned here and its effect can be very bigger than we all could imagine. So yes having strict rules for the real people and contributors is never a problem. They should always be there.  Wink

It depends on what you mean strict, I have been participating in over 200 bounties and I can tell you some managers have some bad issues to a hunter, they complicate things and with bounties like that at the end you get nothing. I hate bounties where they ask you to make a report and also ask to fill in excel spreadsheet, that makes nonsense like Desico, I have done what I was told to, making repost and retweet with hashtags and for my own surprise no stakes at all! I just given up on it, withouth getting in touch with managers, as I know every week I must beg and waste my time to prove I did my work

Many many people join bounty campaigns looking for money only and they are not interested in giving the best in what they do so rules might make them do some effort for their income

Strict rules are necessary not only for participants of bounties, but also for projects. There was much in 2018 ico, but many are not honest projects. They are swindlers who want to take control of your money. They need to be controlled too.

The more participants and fraudulent actions are inevitably the bounty managers have to make the regulations more stringent for those who do the rules cannot be compared to those who cheat

I think of bounty rules to prevent cheaters in the bounty because some people are bumping into the bounty so they can gain a lot so double beware of bounty joins because other bounty managers are so strictly just to follow rules so you can accept your bounty.

So then, with the existence of strict regulations, they are trying and not just doing it lazily. I agree with the existence of these strict rules, this is also one way to reduce spammers on bitcointalk as often discussed by officials in meta section.

Yeah, needed! It will definitely gave benefit to hardworkers and should strictly reduce scammers. The best part of bounty strict rules is it proof of authentication because in last few months, there are many scammers which used my username and get coins easily. I feel so bad them, when they take my hardwork coins. But now not only bounty managers start strict rules, even bitcointalk demote all junior members to newbie because of scam accounts and their scam posts. Now all these newbie should pay b/w $10-$13, if they want some facilities.

I think the rules are very important, strict rules are needed because many people don't pay attention and they are very lazy to read. Strict rules also reduce people who have multiple accounts. I support strict rules.

Some bounty manager will give consideration for a little mistakes , it just a matter of asking in favor of your time and efforts exerted  for the benefits of the project . But next time you should be very careful during application .

Depends on what you see as strict, honestly.

Bounty rules who help improve the forums by rewarding more people who take some time to think about what they will write and then doing it in a presentable way is definitely the right way to go. It doesn't have to be article or magazine quality for obvious reasons, but this kind of behavior is good for all of us.

The weak link of the forum is simple: Too many spammers.

Strictly yes! Most of the member here now is quite abusive, deceitful, shitposter, scammer, and hacker. And these problems must be addressed especially those hunters who are using others identity in joining airdrops and bounties. Those who will be found deceiving and cheating should be banned here in the forum. They are just a poison here and must be thrown outside the forum community.

Strict prize rules are needed to reduce cheating bounty hunters in their work, such as using fake accounts and fake wallets to join prizes, and copying reports from other participants to get lots of tokens. KYC is a good solution to reduce the number of scammer.
