This is a big tragedy for all newbie members of this forum. But it also have pros and cons. Pros of this having a clean forum
This does not make forum clean but cleaner. and cons of this only for those active and chronic members have the ability to standout or to post anything they want that's ofcourse related to crypto.
Anyone can post quality post and content in this forum regardless of users rank moreover they will earn merit by doing this. There is no con in your statement. |

It's a bit embarrassing and frustrating to be managing threads as a Newbie again without the ability to add images and signatures, etc. And kind of sucks that the hard workers among us can be bundled in with the spammers.
Purchase a Copper Membership if you want signatures to show up. This is a big tragedy for all newbie members of this forum. But it also have pros and cons. Pros of this having a clean forum and cons of this only for those active and chronic members have the ability to standout or to post anything they want that's ofcourse related to crypto.
It's not. It's a tragedy to shitposters who are only here to spam and collect bounties. Getting one merit is so easy you could get it without even trying if you were to actually contribute something. The only people who are going to be victims of this 'tragedy' are the people the merit system was put in place to stop in the first place. |

I member since 1 years ago as a reader who is more silent, then what about my fate there is no chance to go up, even to get 1 merit I have difficulty and get down my level since 1 week ago, sometimes I like to be sad, while those who comment on the talk are useless, get the level easily, even sometimes my comments are deleted without cause, I have never been racist, never spam or speak disrespectfully, do I have to pay or buy, to be comfortable, I see many people sell accounts but they are safe and not subject to sanctions, sorry if myenglish not good, thanks and happy weekend, my regards

Promotion of bounty and justification of work that we have promoted the work in social media sites by posted links in a forum are mostly considered as the spam post.
Could you please, lighten this topic whether we should work to promote the altcoin or just leave and do quality post rather than quantity post as lots of people are earning from this as part-time employment. But Since Merit is needed lots of people are now struggling. Some countries English is secondary language so they are also struggling to write a good post.

Well farmers need to milk their cows in order to get money but they have to feed them to survive. In BITCOINtalk you can keep posting in altcoins but don't expect a merit reward for that. If you don't know English just post in your local language topic/board or maybe it is time to learn a new language properly? |

Well that's on you. 1 merit is nothing once you have a decent knowledge about the blockchain technology.
I can tell you that that's not even required to earn merit here, depending on which section you're posting in. What is necessary is to write things that interest other members and to write those things well. I'm sure people could be earning merits in the local boards, but a lot of them are just too lazy to write anything more than 1-line garbage. |
