Is there any official version about why does this miner trying to connect to mine.icemining.ca? Is it devfee or just hidden mining?

I would like to know this as well.
I assume it has a hidden dev fee added.
I noticed that when its mining it will say Share #/# Accepted, or will just say Share Accepted.
My theory is when it says Share Accepted its mining for the Dev.
Judging by how often that happens, it seems to be set to about a 5% Dev Fee.
I wouldn't mind it if the Dev was Transparent about it.

I have been mining with them, and haven't seen what you are reporting.
My hash rate has been pretty consistent, and so have my earnings.

It sounds more like you lost connectivity to the pool.
Around that same time, I did notice that even with more miners, the hashrate of the pool had dropped from 32 Gh down to 22 Gh.  Makes me wonder if they suffered some kind of connectivity issue to a larger farm.

Same here, didn't notice any significant lost in profit from mining with icemining.

The chance factor needs to test the pool 48 hours due. There can be manipulation if there is significant difference. The Yimp pool is a bit more profitable.
