They do not die, but are transformed, I would say.  The current requirements for ico are much higher than before, it reduced the scam level but not more.

Though there is recess in the market now but I don't think ICO will die off like that. We should remember that the industry is still very young and with continue innovations that will be able to protect investors interest and fund, the industry will come out to be more stronger and less riskier.

It's not that the ICO is dying out, but the problem is the fall of the cryptocurrency market. Because of this, now many can not even collect soft cap, since people do not yet have any money, no trust, no desire to invest in ICO.

"September has seen the least amount of funds raised by #ICOs in more than a year. Are ICOs dying off?"

Chart here: https://twitter.com/Bancor/status/1049690978213404673
hmm
most of them are scams. and I think they should be like that. F*ck all the scamers.
it's too easy for investor to throw money out in this market, even though it's high return, but the risk is too high. I can't lose them that easy,

I do not think so. The reduction in the number of new ICO projects is explained by the fact that they see that now, in the conditions of the stagnation of the cryptocurrency market, most even promising projects fail due to poor investor activity. Therefore, they just wait for the right time to start their ICO. The market will grow and the number of new ICO projects will also increase. Therefore, this situation with a decrease in the number of new ICO projects is temporary.

in any case, until the company’s ico market has some control to reduce the number of scammers, the investment attractiveness of the ico companies will be in a very bad state.

The requirement for ICO has become more serious and people have become smarter, but now the biggest problem for ICO is a falling market, some people don’t even want to invest in top coins, much less in ICO.

Most likely the ICO does not disappear. And they attracted few funds due to the fact that many projects are fraudulent, a very bad market, or the project itself is not claimed...

ICOs will never die as long cryptocurrency demand are still available out there. Scam or not ICOs are used to gatherings the money for the projects to start out and it very needed in every projects to alive. Some might not need ICOs but mostly are especially the scam one. So make sure you pick the legit one before making some investment on ico.

I don't think that ico die . It is still a very relevant way to attract Finance to your project . The market at the moment is not conducive to the activity for ico. But I think once the market enters the bullish trend will change.

Not really be a surprising statistics and somehow I do already anticipated this thing to happen due to lots of scams together with a bear market then expected on what would probably happen on ICO funding.
They aren't dying but if the situation would continue like this where lots of frauds do exist then confidence of investors on putting money into projects will surely gradually fades off. Then quess on what would happen next?

I do not think so.Just due to the market situation, many are afraid to invest thinking that the price will be even less and the team will raise funds but do nothing. Also, many investors are deterred by the fact that the price of the token after listing on the exchange is much less than during the ICO.Ie it can be concluded that the ICO does not die and are in standby mode

ICO's will never be the same. Good projects will still continue to raise however, the public rounds will be a very small part.

yeah, right.
and i hope that in the future there will be more quality ICO and willing to work hard to complete their roadmap according to target. so, investors will come back again to believe in the ICO project.

at present there are many ico projects that only want to take investors' money to thicken their bags without making any effort on their projects.

It used to be a lot of projects they are not particularly selected , there were scammers and normal projects, but now you can see that there are fewer scams because of this it seems that the ICO is dying out.

This is very difficult, because right now the startup also does not have the manpower to check the information as you want. Unless there must be an independent company doing these jobs and the ICOs having their certifications will be a guarantee of trust

if u look at the stats, new icos are still coming in at a steady pace, but it's a congested space...new solid teams and concepts are few and far between
I think ICO space is still safe, I have seen couple of ICO's getting enough funding to start even during these bad times when people are not making decent amount.

I think people are thinking that since we are in a bear market right now if you get in really early on any ICO at this stage and when it comes up it should supposedly get higher in price plus if there is a bull run coming with the same time it will skyrocket and they could make insane returns. So no I do not think the market is going anywhere, ICO's will be here for a long time and it will still be an investment option for many people that want to make long term investments.

No, they aren't. Due to the market conditions, there is a lack of fresh investors. Almost no ICO is collecting its soft cap, because people do not want to invest in such a market. We need a new wave of hype and than more people will come over and we will see the green market.

ICOs are not dying off, what I see and understand is that the good ICOs are been filtered while the craps are thrown out of the system, When ever reputable project emerges, it get funded.

I also see that, if it's dying then those good Ico with the good platform should have not got their funding but they almost reach their hard cap, investors are wiser now they are able to filter good and bad project in the future we will only have good ICO.

I don't think so, many ico who were unsuccessful this year were due to many factors, one of them being the decline that occurred in the last few months. this can be a benchmark in small comparisons, many investors prefer not to do anything rather than experience substantial losses. you can try to analyze it and compare when some ico enter the exchange price will fall down. this can be a lesson for you.
