Yes I agree on that most of the people really believe that if we are on dip we are in loss. Without knowing that this dip is really a great opportunity to earn a huge amount of profit in the near future. The amazing dip is a great advantage on buying coin and we can really get more coin in a verry low price so that is a great advantage foe us.

It's definitely a bad environment to trade altcoins in. I've only been trading BTCUSD for most of the year.

But honestly, even BTCUSD sucks right now. Price is bouncing back and forth in such a tight range that there are very little potential returns. I'm looking forward to a strong bull or bear trend to trade. Above $7,500 or below $5,800 things start to look more interesting (and profitable to trade).

I think currently more than 80% of trader and investor loss money in crypto, but we will not loss after sell it. We should be not trade under emotion and keep holding while waiting for next bull run. Bull and bear is always changed so we have still chance to recover loss if we have enough patient.

Sorry about your loss. But that was because many of you dudes jumped in high and bought at ATH thinking it was the arrival of the new money. May be it might take next year before hodlers start smiling again. May be in two years time. No one knows for sure when it will be.

Surely we can make decent amount of money even in this bear market (maybe a stable market for now) because the prices were oscillating in that region so if we can follow the price movements then we can identify when we have to buy and sell but it will not be much effective for the low capital traders because the profits will be less than one percentage.

Its because majority of us haven't seen a bearish market before, that's why we don't know how to react. We used to see crypto price peaking at some point so long term holding is the most viable method to make money. However, since the start of the year, the trend changes, newbie traders panic and didn't react in a timely manner. They still have this mindset that crypto will somewhat reversed, sadly,it didn't happened. So there's a bright side in 2018 for all of us, be flexible on our trading method otherwise you its not gonna be profitable in your end.

Most of us felt the struggles during this bear market, not just you mate but for all those who seems to seek money for living.  Every person has each spending needs, and if it happens his/she was trapped then he sell an asset without caring for it's value. I had traded some with my asset also this bear season even though I wasn't gaining more. But not as exactly as expected with the previous year, right now is somewhat a hardships.

Yes I do make money in the bear market - but not like in 2017 when every signals group just posted a signal and it's BOOMED.

Making money in this bear market is to difficult mate. Which is unless if you want to make day trading with some coin that has potential to earn quick profits.  But must trade a big amount as well in my opinion so that you can gain enough profits on it. Because doing day trading with small amount nowadays is wasting of time which you can earn cents only because market still not stable.  .

Don't worry, you have not lost money. When the bullish start you will laugh again. This is the best time to invest in cheap coin and you will be surprised by the return you will get when the bullish time start.

Generally, more than that lose because they trade without any form of knowledge at all and they just simply allow their emotions to play a better part of them, since without knowledge anyway, you will not have a strategy and without strategy, you are obviously just gambling your positions in the market. Bear markets are even the hardest to trade and most especially if you do not have knowledge you can get screwed faster.

Even though I do not usually support leverage trading, but at least, you can always short a market as the case may be and make money from a bear market through that.

Yes I am still earning money even though the market is not good. But the crypto or the money I am earning at this time us not as good or not as high as the crypto/money if the market is very good. I do less trading by now, I focused on campaigns that pats bitcoin every week. It is a very big help to me.

Making some money on the side but not that hefty as compared to last year's gains but still, a profit is a profit. I'm trying to distance myself away from the alts for a little while as they seem to be even more unstable and unpredictable compared to bitcoin. What I'm doing is just buying on the lows and whenever it pushes, say 3-5% of my initial entry, I'd take it and wait for another few weeks or so. This has worked well for me, despite the fact that I'm not earning much from this trading scheme.
