My thoughts exactly. I've noticed that it has alot of issues that make it really hard to properly use.

Used many times. No problems at all. Easier than Grin. Faster than XMR. Sometimes slow to load wallet.

I ave to laugh at the comments of those who can't work a Beam wallet.
I think it's probably an error 40

the error is 40cm from the screen

 

Beam has the best in class, most beautiful wallet and is more functional than any other crypto wallet which I have ever used (and trust me, i've used hundreds over the years)
I'd go way back to Zimstake to find a more pleasing wallet experience, nothing, i repeat nothing comes close to the usability of the Beam wallet.

This is not surprising given the kind of designers who work for the project, and how responsibly they relate to their work.
What impresses me most is the UX component, which I consider the most important in design matters.

The BEAM Open source stratum is now available

This is a fork of nomp, and credit to mmitech for adding beamHashI/II to equihashverify

Note: This is a stratum, its not a compete turn-key pool implementation, so there will be some work expected to turn it into a production pool, but all the parts are there to finish, including a disabled reward model and a default nomp website.

Its been well tested, but are likely bugs, so I strongly recommend anyone interested starts with testnet.

that particular service works fine but if any pool op want nicehash to run on it, then they will need to change the starting diff in the pool code.

You can add nodes to help sync the wallet. You will be able to find some here on Beam website:
https://beam.mw/downloads/

You can also find more nodes on both https://beamprivacy.community/ (node tab on the right)
And https://www.raskul.com/beam-nodes/

If you cannot add them directly in the wallet, you can add to the settings file (settings.ini), you can find the file locations here:
