Ethereum’s POS structure and DPOS structures such as Steem and EOS may face bigger issues of concentration of power and wealth due to the fact that decisions are made on the basis of accumulation of stake. If nodes could operate and reach a consensus without the incentivization of wealth, it will have a major benefit. It would allow DApp developers to operate on top of the blockchain for free without having to worry about service fees (or also called “gas” in Ethereum).
