Introducing leonArdo, a crypto trading platform that let's you directly
interact with market graphs to adapt orders. Use our automated trading strategies
to take the pain out of trading and set your hard earned BTC to work for you.

How can you get your copy?
Just go to the website and click through to our Products section.
You can also download a demo version of leonArdo from the website to try it out before you buy it.

Who are we?

leonArdo was developed by three computer science graduates with a
passion for all things bitcoin! We have a combined 20 years of software
development experience and between us hold a PhD and two Masters
degrees. After developing our own bot and seeing how well it performed,
the idea to create a product for the crypto market hit us. We realized
that there was no existing software available that we would want to
use ourselves – so we created leonArdo!

What exactly is leonArdo?

leonArdo has been designed as a “visual” trading front-end
for different markets. However, rather than simply mimic market
websites, leonArdo provides a host of additional features that
significantly improve the trading experience.  leonArdo currently
supports BTC-e, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Poloniex and OKCoin, but new market
plugins are in the pipeline.

leonArdo has been developed from the ground up as an object
oriented C++ application. Using the features of C++ and Qt
allows us to provide a product that is super responsive and
completely intuitive to use.

In future releases, we plan to also provide an API that will allow other
programmers to implement custom trading strategies, which they
can sell independently of us. These strategies will be able to seamlessly
interact with leonArdo’s graphical user interface (i.e., react to mouse
interaction and augment graphs) in order to maintain a consistent
user experience.

Automated trading strategies

mArgin maker

The mArgin maker strategy comes bundled with leonArdo. Simply
click and drag in the graph to set the parameters you want and then
set it to work! It adapts to the changing course of the market.

Ping pong

The ping pong strategy also comes bundled with leonArdo. This
allows you to set a rigid buy and sell price and then leave the rest to
leonArdo. You will immediately see in the graph the amount you will earn
minus the exchange fees

FAQ

Q: If your bots perform so well, why are you selling them?
A: First, our software is more than just a bot. We have created a
trading platform that is fun to use even in manual trading mode! We want
to give people a tool, which otherwise would only be available to big players.

Q: If the bot makes a profit, why are you not just taking a
percentage of it?
A: We would also prefer this model, as we are sure that
would make us more money than just selling it. But it is just not
possible for these two reasons: i) We wouldn't want to use a tool
which requires us to reveal our trading patterns and we assume
you wouldn't either, ii) its just not feasible, as should be the case, for us
to automatically withdraw money from your exchange account to ours.

Q: How much profit does the bot make?
A: As you may have guessed: it depends. A modest example of
what is possible is shown in the log above. We do not guarantee that
you will make money tough. It's trading, telling you anything different
would be dishonest. There are modes you can use to ensure that you
do not make a loss but of course if the overall value of your holdings
decrease then you will lose money.

Q: What markets do you support?
A: leonArdo supports BTC-e and Bitstamp. but more are in
the pipeline. leonArdo's core is very stable and adding new markets,
as long as they have a reliable API, can be accomplished very fast. Maybe
you have a favourite market you would like us to add? Drop us a line!

Q: Why should I buy your software?
A: You don't have to, but we think this may be the beginning of
something special. We want to make trading fun again. You can use
leonArdo to manually trade, to analyze your past orders or to run
automated strategies. At first we'll have two automated trading strategies
available but we will add more. In the future we will support more markets
and we are keen to hear your ideas and remarks.

We also have a nice manual trading mode Smiley.
You can also think of the automatic trading mode as assisted trading.
Just have a look at the video.
The strategy recommends an order, which then can interactively be adapted by direct Mouse (drag/drop) interaction.

If you have further questions, just let us know. We are happy to help.

Good question. An no you don't have to send us your key.

You can just setup a new API key pair (key + secret) on
your BTC-e account (alternatively, you can of course also create a
dedicated account, just for leonArdo). By sending us the first half of your
secret, we can ensure that leonArdo just works with your BTC-e account.
So we don't need your key at all.

I hope that helps!

Good luck implementing the plugin for CrAptsy!
Thanks Smiley. But this should not be that much of a problem.
The software is modularly structured. So we basically just have to implement another market interface.

Further, the market interface is running in a separate thread. Which means that even if we are dealing with higher latency exchanges the software takes care of it.
When placing an order at a slower/unresponsive exchange, the software will handle it in the background.
The progress is always visible in the status bar on the bottom ( as it can be seen in the video).

If you were legit you wouldn't be hiding behind a brand new account. Anyone stupid enough to fall for this deserves to get wiped clean.

So then please be so kind and elaborate on how we could do that.
We can't withdraw funds from an account with the information we have and we won't take any payment before we can deliver the product.
We didn't have an account on this forum so we had to setup a new one.

Further (as mentioned before Smiley )
a) we don't take the payment directly (e.g. escrow)
b) even if we wanted we can't withdraw the funds from the exchange
c) we have a video that demonstrates that this is not just some fantasy product
d) we will provide support to users to run the software in a virtual machine if they wish to do this.

Hi  Wink Wink
I was curious to understand how you create the market history graph (max min open close volume etc) if in the API page there isn't an API Call with the market history values (or maybe i haven't seen it!).
BTC-E api seems very poor. Where's the order creator API?

I Have also checked here : https://support.btc-e.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/26/4/trade-api-en But it seems the same API spec

There simply is no BTC-E API for long term market history.
We keep the history locally on the client but also provide an up-to-date version on the net Wink.
Currently we offer a high resolution history for the last two months and this is growing every day.
When you start the software it fetches the history and you are ready to go.

As for creating an order, in the link you sent us there is a
method called "Trade" near the end of the page that allows this.

We are happy to answer any other questions you might have Sampey. The
success of C.A.T was part of the reason we decided to create
leonArdo! Smiley

Hey everyone. Although the major developmental work is done, there is always room for improvement. Check out the latest feature we just added. Before the bins in the graph could either be turned on or off (see video in our first post), but now there is a third option - grayed out! This allows you to, in parallel, easily see the buys and sells you made along with the course of the market. We hope you like it Smiley

PS Check out that effective gain of 2.58% Smiley

Note that this has been updated to reflect our new security mechanism to give you even more peace of mind

We added the following to our first post in an effort to gain your trust Smiley Please have a read and as always if you have any questions we are ready and waiting to assist you!

Peace of mind

We love bitcoin and want it to succeed. With the recent hacks, scams and
downright incompetence we have all witnessed in the last few weeks we
wanted to talk to you about how we hope to gain your trust. First of all we are
in the process of setting up an escrow service so that when the time comes
for payment you will not have to directly pay us and can be 100% sure that
when you do hand over your BTC that you will receive leonArdo.

In order to ensure that your copy of leonArdo is exclusively linked to
your BTC-e account you will only have to provide us with the SHA-256 hash of
one of the two API keys that leonArdo needs to connect to the BTC-e exchange.
With just the hash there is nothing that we can do on your account.
Furthermore, even if someone had both API keys they could not do anything
except trade on your account as withdrawal from a BTC-e account is only
possible if you log on to the website with your username and password -
both of which we will NEVER ask for.

Please take a few minutes to watch the video above. This should
demonstrate that we have built a real product here. A lot of work has gone
into it and we are sure that if you try it out you will love it as much as
we do!
