This is a little sad but Hemp Coin is scheduled for removal from Bittrex due to low volume.

Quote
"We look for coins that have high community demand, innovations to crypto-coin technology, or a contribution to science and humanity. We believe in aggressively taking chances on coins and letting the free market sort out which coins should thrive. We just as aggressively prune our markets to allow new coins the visibility to grow in our exchange.

Below you will find markets that we're removing on Friday, May 30th.  If you'd like to see them stick around, the best thing to do is spread the word and get the market active again.  We generated this list based on average volume in the last week (must have at least 0.1 BTC per day to pay for itself) and length of time on Bittrex.

365Coin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-365
AphroditeCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-APH
BeatleCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-BEA
GPUCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-GPUC
HempCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-THC
InformationCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-ITC
MemoryCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-MMC
Coin2: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-NC2
PotCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-POT
RupayaCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-RUP
SapphireCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-SPH
SpainCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-SPA
VioletCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-VLT
UltraCoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-UTC

We'll follow a pattern of announcing and removing under-performing markets twice a week.  We'll announce the next set of candidates for deletion on Monday for removal on Friday.

After a market is deleted, you will have 14 days to remove your funds before we shut down the wallet (provided the blockchain permits it.)"

Bittrex is good ! The "problem" is that this coin doesnt seem to stay ahead and do what is needed to survive in this market.

Make something new, update, or die .... I hope we can make something good happen though.

All I know is that scrypt and the slow progress beeing made atm is doomed.

Please Hempcoin, make something happen ? =)

Neither potcoin or dopecoin are pow/pos as far as I know. Hemp coin is the first.

BEING DELISTED FROM BITTREX IS A BIG PRESSING ISSUE!

Look how long it takes and hard it is to get listed on mintpal. We were listed in Bittrex before that site went huge. It is a huge deal to be delisted from Bittrex. Does the dev care/is doing anything to keep this coin up to date and leading edge?

Please do something.. anything. Even going full POS and cutting the total supply would help.. this is the trend right now and since THC was 0% premined it is not even a scam.

We can save ourselves from being delisted with a small amount of volume "must have at least 0.1 BTC per day to pay for itself". Can we do something quickly to get this coin moving?

Kind of hard to when it's only worth 0.00000009 BTC right now. I only have 15k, and that brings that sale to 0.00135 BTC. If I had money to buy some with I would, but the most I can do right now is sell at what the market is asking.

We need interest in this coin, we need publicity. Something needs to be done quick to keep this coin going. Time for the devs to put somethings to action.

edit: I'm slowly bringing it back up with the coins I sold. Currently up to 0.00000015 BTC.
I'll keep it going but can anyone else help it move? I only can carry mine so far. Buy high, sell low, just keep it moving until it's stable. If you care it's time to sacrifice the coins you've got.

i think that if the people would realize that this coin is the first cannabis themed POW/POS coin, the price would be much higher....
but people who are intrested in cannabis themed coins are too stoned to realize it and staying @ pot, dope etc...

I think the problem with this coin is the developer. We have seen incredible community support but the Dev is only 1 guy and doesn't seem to be doing much for the coin. Where are you? Please at least provide an update for all these people dedicated to this coin. Is this just a side experiment for you? What are the future plans for this coin?

Good coins require a strong active Dev. Thanks to everyone who has supported this coin.

we need a team, we cannot just put it all on the one Dev
a single person can never make a coin successful

It works fine on windows, they just need Hempcoin.conf in their AppData/Roaming/Hempcoin folder. Definitely needs to be added to the installer, and then have a second binary free of installer. A lot of coins have this problem.

Isn't Potcoin being carried by one person? Either way they just got an ATM installed in a dispensary, possibly two, and a massive price spike. The call to action just got louder.

i got an idea
how about we raise funds to buy some network hash capacity
5 Mhs devices are about $800 USD
we can mine Hempcoin with it with the proceeds going to a Hempcoin Foundation
what do you guys think?

Sure, but how do we go about raising funds if we aren't on good exchanges? I mean there's other cryptos and cash but that's not really the point.
I think it'd be better to invest in a proper mobile wallet, I'm not having much success. I'll keep trying but life is busy.

Also what's the second post all about?

I also have some ideas. Switch this coin to x11 or go full POS. Maybe x13? Launch a website that sells hemp related products and accepts THC as payment. Put some marketing behind it. Announce it to big players.

good point - i just thought we raise BTC or good all fashioned $$
i could take a look at the mobile wallet, where are you stuck?

the 2nd post is just to show at where the network was at that particular time.

I like this, how do we go about procuring the hemp products, i could get involved with the website but i dont know anything about hemp products.
im not sure why X11 would help us, X13 is awful, i tired it once only.
full POS i dont understand at this point of time, who confirms the transactions and how - i guess i got some learning to do

Also i calculated that it costs me on average 74 satoshis to mine Hempcoin just to break even
(this calculation only assumes 250 coin blocks)
so to support Hempcoin i don't mind selling all that I mine on Bittrex so we dont get unlisted
let me know if anyone is willing to buy at that price
