Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I'm not sure.  If it's windows I'd start my usual troubleshooting.. reboot, check firewall, temp disable virus scanner, etc.. I've never had to do anything more than addnodes to get a connection. :/  Sorry I can't be anymore help.

Have you tried kicking your computer?  Or possible whispering sweet nothings into its mic?  I've seen both work depending on the temperament of the machine..   lol

Wish I could help more, I'm just not sure what the problem could be. :/

Hey guys,  I've been away for a bit, but glad to see the things still very active here.

I just updated the faucet to the new 1.7.  Let me know if there's any problems.

http://sillypothead.com/thcfaucet/

Again, thanks to all the big donors, keeping the faucet flowing.

great news, price is quite low but it seems to be driving some good volume which is already over 2.6 btc !
at this pace hempcoin could get on the first page easy.

BTC VOL = 2.71408572 BTC in only 2 hours.

On the third page of bittrex. If we could somehow get a bit more volume would could get onto the second page of bittrex. If we could get on the first page that would be huge for the coin. We have 22 more hours to add onto our 24 hr BTC volume count.

There are tons of low sell orders! I will buy $100 more THC tomorrow. I also talked a friend into buying $200 worth of them tomorrow. If anyone could get friends/family to buy a few hundred dollars worth of hempcoins than today is the day to do it!

Let's try to make it to the first page.

The block reward is halving very soon. If you want hempcoins then today is the day to buy them. Mining difficulty can't drop much more so you are pretty secure buying coins at these prices. There will be half as many coins for the market to absorb soon. This will definitely bring up the price. Buy and sell coins right now today. Let's get on the #1 page of bittrex.

I tried to keep the price above 100 sats last night..  ate through the little btc I had pretty fast!  LOL

The volume is really nice to see, Prior to being disabled on bittrex the volume was much lower!

Could be the case, could be a bug in the software. What's your hashrate like?
