I'm all for moving back a day, I hit not one, but TWO jackpot 15750's..
I was very sad to see those go!

What are the code changes that are in the works?

I hit 6 of those on the 12th when wallet version 1.6 was out.  Sadly they are gone.

It looks like someone is making kind of a "war" against the weed related coins that are not PotCoin who still is stable and with good price... CannabisCoin also got someone mining with 350 MH/s from time to time like HempCoin and CannaCoin is dumped now in Bittrex for the 50% of the lowest price... not cool

I am learning how to make/modify coins. I will be able to help fix the hemp coin in the future.

This looks like someone tried to fork this with that mega hash 51%. We will roll it back to yesterday and fork this coin ourselves to get it back. We are on it.

The new code and setup will fix this once and for all.

Now that it's been a couple days, I'm starting to like the fork we're on...
It's been nice and steady, no big spikes in the hashrate..

I'm already ahead of what I lost due to the fork the other day..

I'm waiting for updated code also, in hopes that it will help the forking problems we've been having and getting Bittrex back online..

For the colours do you have a palette in mind you would like? I can try to match the original pastels as best as possible.
The THC ("tHC" with a strike is what it's supposed to be, "THC" with a strike looks funny) part of the new coin I like a lot and I will make it smoother in the future. Having some sort of currency symbol would be excellent for brand recognition, I agree.

I had made an alternate coin a while back that I didn't release because I wasn't satisfied with it. It was meant to be a lot more of a hemp motif:


If you have any suggestions so we wouldn't be copying Potcoin that'd be a huge help. Our designs are already similar enough in concept.

The wallet image files will come in a few days. I'll be reverting a few and changing others.

Other colours I tried are the original pastels:


Earthy tones, green is off though:







Can't wait to get my miner back on THC.

Sweet!!! I like a lot with the original pastels colors (it is kind of a mix of the earthy tones btw)  and also that now the background is empty behind the symbol. Cool work!

I really like those logo's.  I am kinda leaning towards the more earthy colors, the last 3.  great work !!  I like the one where you say the green is off. I agree it might be a little off, but think with slight tweeking, it would rock.

I have read most of this thread and maybe I missed someone mentioning it, but I put my math hat on this weekend and figured out what the average block reward is when taking into account the bonus blocks... I was amazed to find out the answer.... very clever, i might add.  well done Hempcoin.

has anyone else done the math..... try it out... here is the formula for you to find out on your own. :-)

( 250 * 0.98 ) + ( 1750 * 0.01 ) + ( 15750 * 0.01 ) =

Maybe I am a dolt for taking so long to figure it out, but oh well, just in case others didn't do the math either, figured I would pass it on.

don't think that's a word, but hope you know what I mean.

I think it might actually be the color of green that shows up under the artificial light ( upper and left portion of the H and also the 'HEMPCOIN' on top/bottom edges of the coin ) that is turning me off of it. Or maybe my eyes/monitor are playing tricks on me...

I really like the rest of the colors, just the one green is off ( I think ).

don't get me wrong though, I think its awesome, just being nit picky and wanted to give you some feedback as it seems not many of use were piping up.

yep, that change definitely makes it look nicer and more professional.   Maybe try some other greens to have a bit of color in there, but either way, I think hempcoin will have one of the nicest logos.
