Lots of blocks found now so that makes up for the big pause we had.

This scrypt asics miner rental stuff is pretty cool. Good rental prices.

Which site do you use to rent scrypt asics? How much does it cost to rent 100mh/s for 5 day?

Good morning everybody... wow! 200+ MHs.. things are getting pretty serious around  Cool

 @jmsr1978 - thanks for a great job!
sorry my only input is negative, maybe i'm being oversensitive, just this, concern about the phrase "green future", it has been adopted by ECCoin in their logo.

@groggin Thanks mate! Hey about the "green future" phrase, it came out to me after reading the info on the web but as i say, we can change still words on the video, it is ok.. i will make a new version today with the quantity of coin per block changed (from 250 to 125 for to use it when halving) if u have a nice idea to replace the "green future" for something else please let me know, would be cool Smiley

@fartbags: Heads up, the forgot password section of the wallet doesn't work Sad

@jmsr1978: I've got a note or two for you in the morning. Are you well versed in AE? I'm a cinematographer. Too bad you're in Germany otherwise I'd say we get together and do something for Hempcoin.
Guys don't forget about Wolf's pool! He get a second one going for us so lets send some hashrate his way! Hemppool.org
"Unable to connect to wallet RPC service: RPC call did not return 200: HTTP error: 0"
...or not.. lol

I've been working on getting one set up.  Unfortunately work has been extremely busy recently.
My bad! Oh well, soon we'll get something on your pool, Wolf. The more spread out the better. If it's just the one pool there's a good chance people will ignore us. Dev you should contact some of those who ran pools for us before, get them going again.

Also let's get that new site up and going!

@blakeaholics yes i can do AE but im meanly a video editor, was my specialty in the cinema school...   and about ur idea... if u are up to record some smalls interviews about Hempcoin and films some nice footage i can edit and put some graphics on it without problem (will need to look for the time but i can find it, it is ok). Even if we are not in the same country. I made that before between Germany and Latinoamerica (different countries) sending files by internet (of course, short films and filmed with Canon cameras the majority part of them, the files are pretty small but have good quality) U let me know

+1 with the "let's get that new site up and going!" and also a small suggestion, now with the video there maybe would be good to have the Intro Text under the video centered and not left aligned how it is now

Something is wrong...
There must've been a fork or something..
My wallet (1.7.0.2) is at block 194024 with  difficulty  0.04   and 1.26mhs
But the hemp explorer says block 194059 with 6MH/s..

Is anyone else experiencing issues?

It's strange how getmininginfo will show a net hashrate of say 80MH yet stoner pool is pluging along at over 170 and I know I'm pushing over 110MH to the network myself (through stonerpool)..

I've seen it a couple times today while monitoring the block explorer. It will drop for a bit then bump back up to over 200.

I know I'm not on a different chain because the wallet on the blockchain and on my pc are showing the same info and I'm getting deposits from stonerpool on my pc.

Another thing I don't yet understand about this stuff.. lol

the hashrate reported through getmininginfo is just a calculation, based on how often blocks are found.
the wallet/network have actually no way to monitor what miners are online, all it can do is calculate an average
look in the code for it, and maybe post it on here for all to see, if you don't feel like looking for it let me know and i will post it.

That makes sense!  I was actually thinking along those lines in the shower this morning..  thinking "how does it know what the hashrate is across the whole network? it can't because no one wallet acts as a pool for all hashpower!"

Thanks alot! Smiley

We are on it and checking into it.

I just checked the block explorer vs my pc wallet... The pc wallet still getting deposits from stonerpool, both wallets are showing the same info.

I'm not sure that it's a fork.

Sure did take a LONG time for block 194049, like 2.5 hours.  Could that have caused the averages for the nethashrate to look all wacky until we get through a bunch of blocks at reasonable times and things average out?  The few times I've noticed the average hashrate drop way low, I'm pretty sure the block previous was a long one.  Not 2.5 hours but 10-15 minutes as apposed to the usual..

Thanks!
I noticed a 1.7.0.3 git checkin... is that ready to go?
I'm starting a fresh blockchain download to try and get on the right road..
But maybe I'll wait if there are stylish new updates..

The client I'm mining on is still behind (194051 currently) and when I look up my last 'generated' transactions, the block explorer doesn't find them Sad
This doesn't sound like its working great..
It'd be nice if it was, because I've been gathering _lots_ of THC, but I think it's for nada..

No, it was just dev version. It might be included in next release, but it's not ready yet.
