[ANN][THC] The Hempcoin (THC)

I would love to set a p2pool up for this coin and i just need the code for networks.py for this coin.
Everybody seems to be on just one pool and it is not even p2p, trying to 51% attack yourselves ?
I'm not confident enough to try to extract the code from the hempcoin github repository, anybody here who can help me out ?

You know, Mintpal is very strict and correct in their voting system, so it seems that some people maybe find a way that they thought is correct and a valid vote, but it looks like Mintpal disagree.

It is indeed a little sad to see that we lost so much votes, but look at it differently, the last few days,the hashrate went out like crazy, now it is getting down again, when people continue voting then one day it will be listed anyway, and then we will move higher.

There are plenty of exchanges, at least 3 of 4 nice ones that can be used before hitting mintpal.

Some coins have bought some votes, some have more then 4BTC for voting...Also there are other exchanges, look at Bittrex.com and poloniex, those exchanges are also not bad. If people continue voting and voting then we should get listed in 1 month time, but people need to keep on voting.

How much you miners gain btc/day approximately, when you start mining a new coin like this and sell it on exchange ?

For a r9 280x you will get about 2,500 hempcoins. The price hasn't really been determined yet. It is around 150 right now. so 0.00375 btc as day which is pretty much the average price for an alt coin. They take 0.00375 then divide it by the amount of coins you can mine in a day with a 280x = the price of a coin.

The days of mining altcoins and selling them for btc is over. It'll take you a year to pay off your graphics card doing it that way. Too many coins and not enough investors.

You have to now be loyal to 1 coin (maybe 2 or 3) and help them get popular over time.

I like hempcoin because of its slow growth. You can mine it and get enough coins so that you are happy to be a supporter to help it go to $50 in 3 years. It has real people who are doing real things in the world instead of people trying to get a few coins in a week,  pump it up, then dump it on an exchange once there is enough buy orders.

The Hemp Coin has more of a natural organic growth to it. It seems more like bitcoin. Like how it started tiny and slowly added on 1 person, then another, then another, then another 2, then another 3, etc. This gives all the new people a chance to get what they feel like is a large amount of coins. No one ever feels like they missed the boat and it is too late to get in.



When this coin turns to x11 there will probably be a mad rush to this coin with a big price spike. I hope everyone here wants to take this coin to $50 over 3 years instead of dumping it for 5 cents each and moving onto another coin.

Yeah, that's what i thought too, and was wondering why people are still so enthusiastic about mining... Well if people have old mining rigs  from times when it was still profitable it might be resonable to use them for something. Otherwise makes more sense to just by in with price of new CPU, when your favorite coin is still cheap. Or better yet, get them before release from giveaway or ipo...if it's not a scam

That is indeed correct, a few months ago it was close to 0.01BTC per 1000kh/s, prices are really disappointed.

People mining this coin believe in it's future. In my opinion it is the best strategy. It would be a waste to mine and dump.

Me too.. the great thing is we still have tons of real votes due to everyone's support! We will keep climbing fast no doubt.

I see this often, a coin gets near the top and all of a sudden it is at the bottom. In our case we did not go to the bottom. We still have tons of votes and climbing fast! To me, this proves strong support in the community. Keep the votes coming guys!

To my mind this coin has as much potential as any I've seen, it just needs a little direction. My first instinct is to volunteer an acre of land and harvest enough to get a small industry off the ground. Is this interesting to anyone with an idea for processing hemp?
