can anyone explain to me that graph? thanks! yeah shows you how much in btc to get to different valuations based on the current order book, notice how its only like 3 BTC to get to 40 where as there is about 8 BTC stacked ready to buy. NO IPO on my part...i am not that stupid ..never spent a single cent on my cash on bitcoin...just angry that my 280x AMD are needed when HVC was all about my i7 CPU

harder to dump when the difficulty gets too high, we already know the minting rate isn't gonna go up so watch the value rise in the future.

Well yes, the coin rate is constant, however a GPU binary is now available. Some of us that at least put effort on compiling the provided source code, perhaps are also into mining for long enough to know better than dumping at any price. Maybe ...

@Scam_exposer I am an IPO investor and I have something to say. Why did you create a new account just to post in this coin forum. It looks really odd. Especially since all your post have been directed towards fear mongering attacks towards the coin. You don't seem a bit interested in the coin. Your obviously not a fan of it. But you seem to have waste a lot of time stalking this coin. What is your angle seriously. Are you trying to save us from ourselves because we can't? Have you even coded anything? Why should they respond to the rants of a non interested random n00b spamming the forum?
@community Give me 100% proof that there is a working 100% gpu miner. I haven't seen evidence. Don't post random pictures of consoles(not proof). There isn't one working. I have only seen one a work in progress. I want hard evidence. Give me source code of a 100% working gpu miner. Needs to be 100% with out a single doubt. Stop posting disinformation about what might exist because you really don't know!
Also I have seen a post from the devs in forums everyday. No proof of abandonment.
I will not be responding to non sense again. Also if you haven't done the research yourself why believe a random n00b newly created account that spams all negative, anti heavy posts only.
Thanks for reading.
There are reasons for spreading FUD... acquiring cheap HVC. which means there is even more interest in this than you might imagine

nope it's quite the opposite. Why you say that? dude just check out the buying depth compared to the amount being sold. Also its asic resistant(or some ive been told), has an innovative voting system, much easier to mine than LTC, cheaper to mine too as peoples gpus are running at like 40 degrees and only at low intensities.

The new miner can destroy the coin
Just remember memorycoin... Now is dead..! MMC is still a CPU coin, the MMC GPU miner does not give nearly enough boost compared to HVC.

You are right, but the new cpu miner came like a month after the gpu miner was released. The new cpu miner was like x4 faster than the firts one, then botnet just did the rest. But hey the coin looks pretty good. I really hope to be wrong! Just look at the gpu temperatures freshi freshi

I like this coin too, hope to resist this new alternative.

UpdateHere's an update from the Heavycoin developers. Stratum-miningWe have released the stratum-mining software today. It has been made compatible with 1GH's private closed source stratum-server, so you should be able to switch your external miners between the different pools. Although 1GH is easy to set up, we strongly recommend you to spread your mining among many pools in order to improve decentralization. GPU miningIt looks like GPU developers have overcome hefty1, giving GPUs an advantage for mining Heavycoin. We tried some new ideas with hefty1, but much to our disappointment it was not enough. So, we must take our hats off to the GPU mining developers. On the one hand, this is disappointing to us because we worked hard to try to make Heavycoin CPU-only forever. On the other hand, this could actually be good thing because it means Heavycoin is now opened up to a new crowd of stakeholders and interests. The amount of GPU mining interest Heavycoin is receiving is a very positive sign. We would like to dispel the myth that GPU mining means an increased or faster increase in the supply of Heavycoin. This is simply not true because the Heavycoin retargeting algorithm is working well to maintain the desired mint rate of 1 block (approximately) every two minutes. Block chain: 2014-03-17 16:22:42 | 6744 | last 588.22656250 1b6f6941 1.242 | 1hr 575.72888184 1b71d462 0.975 117.000 | 24hr 120.93071747 1c021dec 0.958 114.904 | last 149
We are happy that Heavycoin was (at least) able to give CPU-miners the first week of mining, which is often the most profitable window to mine (as the difficulty has much to adjust). At this point we would like to ascertain to what degree Heavycoin is GPU-resistant (eg. how much CPU does it still require in order to GPU mine) before updating our website. Our plan going forward to is to continue to support the core Heavycoin software, assist mining pools wherever possible and support the Heavycoin community with the bounties and future development fund. Why GPU Miners Are Good For CPU coins? http://memorycoin.org/gpu-miner/

One thing is for sure... This is a good coin to test how self-destructive and hypocritical the "community" is, miners or not. If the coin value tanks and large dumps happen either from IPO holders or miners, that speaks volumes about the long term perspective of alt-coins (for speculative/profit purposes, that is).
It's amazing that short-sightedness and greed can even kill what basically is just easily pulling money out of thin air. Impressive!

Just remember memorycoin... Now is dead..! just remember Michael Jackson, now he's dead, what's your point. MMC was pretty stable, then they released the GPU miner, and the coin went down hill That's a very wrong claim... MMC is the most GPU resistant coin out there... It was a 1 week advantage for the GPU miner but ever since yvg1900 released the new CPU miner the GPU doesn't have any advantage on CPU mining AT ALL. And MMC is far from being dead Very much alive and well.
