With all our miners' efforts, we just solved another block

But It's really far from what we can do.

I am now suggesting all HeavyCoin miners rush to http://heavycoin.zhpool.com and gather any possible hash power we get, we deserve much more blocks.

Our mining/DB servers keeps never down record since keccak512's final release.

It's our job to keep all the servers running at low load,

yours is pushing your rig to the highest, and work with our 2 dedicated stratum mining servers Wink

final promotion today... help us spread our words... keep working 22 hours....should get some sleep now...

We are now running in a very fine shape, keep solving block at a steady and low pace

So, I will again promote http://heavycoin.zhpool.com.

All CPU and GPU miners, you are welcome to join us.

Thanks

* miner count for 1gh is an estimate based on total hash rate (T), summed top 100 (Sc) hash rate (Sh), extrapolation of miners 81-100 progression through to 1Mh/s (Xh, Xc) dividing the remainder (T-Sh-Xh) by 1Mh/s (Rc) and summing these 3 results together (Sc+Xc+Rc), and is likely wildly inaccurate
1gh Top 100 hash rate: 15,812.24Mhash/s

More miners flooding into 1gh, some left the others.  Having tried a few just for fun, I can see several reasons why.

http://heavycoin.zhpool.com/ is running at more than 400M hs, the pool hashrate statistics keep waving from 200+ to 500+.

We need to be friendly to our CPU miners, so we start at a very low diff, lots of shares caused a waving pool rate statistics.

Check out the block we solved, you will prove what I am talking.

Geeze, no need to shout Wink
Tell you what, I'll see if I can start averaging the values reported considering obviously the stats page does not Tongue

why more on 1gh
1. its simple, no registration, direct payout to wallet
2. its more secure, pool doesn't hold your mined coin, no withdraw request whatsoever
3. its reliable, tested during ddos era on MAX and PTS
4. they got optimized miner, and support user with their miner
5. site are clean, easy to read
6. mining centralization doesn't have big impact anyway, if 1gh do double spend, we can see it, then people will move out, and so far none!
7. most people will choose consistent payout, which is from high hashrate pool such as 1gh

new 1gh miner is out, get it from their website I just went from 8.8mh/s to 11.7mh/s with it.
holy sh*t...
went from 5.5 to 8
a bit tweaking... 8.5
+50% more hashrate  Shocked
on a xfx 7950

wootwoot

Weird, im only getting 7.5 on my 7970. Got any tips for me?

I am getting 6.7 with my 7970 on I 0

getting

9.3 MH/s on R9 280x

https://i.imgur.com/2A8sM6y.jpg

and ,
8.4 MH/s on HD7970
https://i.imgur.com/9MYrJtt.jpg

anyone can get better than this, share the settings please..

Could you show the cgminer.conf of 280X rig that has 9.3M hash? By 1GH's new 3-20-Cgminer?
And which AMD card driver/SDK is the better for mining HVC?
My 280X only has 8.2M on 1100/1250.
Thanks so much!

Wait so now the Hefty1 cryptography has been cracked where is the miner download for mining using GPU? I cant seem to find it anywhere or is it being hoarded by the hoards of all thine hoards?Huh
1. It's not cracked - just made reasonably efficient to run on a GPU.
2. Google?  C'mon now.  You didn't even try, did you?

"reasonably efficient"?! My old, very underclocked, Radeon HD 7850 can hash 10x faster than my overclocked i5-3570K.

Nah mate, I'd say Hefty1 has been well and truely annihilated  Tongue

That has ZERO effect on the main purpose of this coin.. GPU mining just takes power away from the botnets. And HEFTY1 is still 100x better than just another scrypt clone!

I disagree that is has no effect. While voting for block rewards is without doubt an innovation, being CPU-only was also touted as one of the main differentiators of this coin.

I came to Heavycoin because it was CPU only. Even built a mini cpu farm just for it. Staying... because well i am. Moved my GPU's to it also. New cgminer version giving about a 38% increase in hash for me, very nice. HeavyCoin needs to expand the network of merchants retailers, marketing ect if it's going to go anywhere. ECCoin has an extensive marketing campaign going right now, would be nice to see HeavyCoin move in that direction.

I want to do my part - I've setup a Heavycoin facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Heavycoin

I will do some advertising for it, that's my specialty, but I don't have enough time to post there regularly enough so it needs admins / posters.

If you like the coin, think it has a future and want to help out then PM me and I'll get you access.

Great, added to the ¤╠╣¤ Heavycoin Community Hub.

All contributions and ideas are welcome in the ¤╠╣¤ Heavycoin Community Hub or directly in the Heavycoin Marketing and Promotion Thread - we still need a Marketing coordinator/team, unless the devs have already assigned the job.

CPU only didnt last long, very true. But Heavycoin has demonstrated desirable and differentiating qualities in GPU mining, cooler temps and lower power use. HVC seems to be re-branding itself to take advantage of its new-found strengths.

Very true. With Scrypt GPU mining starting to fade as ASICS are entering the market I think your gonna see miners moving to alternative hashing coins like HVC.

something very wrong with the difficulties. block 8867 to 8868 took about 14 mins ...wt............and very often it took less than 10 sec for next block and those block came continuously with couple of sec or mins. The block finding is very unstable.

There's currently a marketing effort underway, but if the community wants to launch further (and larger) efforts, then the Heavycoin devs will back such community efforts using the Heavycoin Fund.
