Happy to announce http://altoutlet.com/hvc now accepts Heavycoin!

Just over 8k products available, including some community designed shirts, various consumer gadgets and electronics..

And free international shipping on all orders... Also a percentage of all sales goes to a charity of your choice, selectable on checkout.

Are we the first merchant to accept Heavycoin, perhaps? Smiley Can we claim one of the merchant bounties

Any questions/queries, let me know, feedback is always appreciated Smiley

Hi, can anybody please explain why my ccminer (any version) keeps crashing right after I activate it? I'm using a NVIDIA G210
...
It can't be the gpu, it has sufficient performance - I checked the requirements. any help/advice is welcome.
The GeForce 210 only has compute version 1.2 according to various online sources - ccminer is compiled for version 2.0.  Could you double-check the compute version for your card?

hi, its a "G210, 1gb, ddr3" - sorry all I can see on the manual is... opengl 3.1 and pci-express 2.0, 3.0, I can't find what computing power it uses - thanks for the info though...

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!! HVC will not go to the moon, it will just start on the Moon and fly from there to other galaxy!!!! I't quite unbelievable that some merchant with physical goods believes in HVC so much just couple of weeks after launch of the coin. BTW, the prices in that Outlet are recalculated automatically based on daily exchange rate HVC/BTC/USD?

Yes the prices are dependant directly on USD->BTC->HVC, so the prices changes a few times throughout the day...

Me neither! But I'm happy as hell about it. Got 29.5 MH/s pointed at heavy. I love it!

Awesome!  Absolutely.  Your shop looks good.  How about the second merchant bounty?  (The first one is for a major online retailer.)  Please give us a PM if you have not already.

Why does recent transactions tab on client show me these mined blocks?

ex:

I've just set this wallet up freshly, never mined nor sent any balance to this client, yet I can sign messages from these addresses

Bump. nobody can explain this? it's standard behavior?

The wallet is configured to mine by default.  When you first fire up your wallet, it will start to download the block chain.  As the block chain is downloaded the wallet will see the old, low difficulties and mine blocks.  However, these blocks will be orphans.  This is expected.  We should probably update the settings to to disable mining by default in the next release.

That sounds great to me, the second one sounds good as of course it doesn't fulfil the major retailer criteria (I've sent you a PM)

Thanks for your suggestion.  We are holding off on a new website until we get the Heavycoin logo and branding sorted out.  After that we will probably get a professional to redesign the website.

Surprised no one mentioned GTX 780 TI.  10MH+ plus a lot less power requirements and less heat.

how much power consumption?

this just got bumped to more than 20 MHash/s. Here's an example for my 3x 780Ti rig.

Code:
[2014-03-27 00:58:35] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.com:5333
[2014-03-27 00:58:35] 3 miner threads started, using 'heavy' algorithm.
[2014-03-27 00:58:54] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 37246 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:58:59] accepted: 2/2 (100.00%), 61640 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:29] accepted: 3/3 (100.00%), 61450 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:41] accepted: 4/4 (100.00%), 61001 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:43] accepted: 5/5 (100.00%), 60771 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:47] accepted: 6/6 (100.00%), 60428 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:48] accepted: 7/7 (100.00%), 60783 khash/s (yay!!!)

The power efficient 750 Ti now does 11.5 MHash/s

Take this AMD.

(we removed all the divergence from our Hefty1 implementation by applying logical ops
 instead of branching)

get ccminer 0.5 from github NOW and rake in the profits.

Christian

Really nice work!  Glad to hear Heavycoin is maintaining its power and thermal efficiencies.

Should I go shopping for Nvidia cards now or can we assume that the heavy kernel will be optimized for AMD as well Cheesy?
