To begin with, Ethereum already occupies the 2nd place in the raing among all coins. Xrp is a bank coin, maybe when all the banks of the world support it, then we can talk about it.

I do not think that these coins are competitors to each other. It seems to me that both projects are very strong and can be selected for long-term investments.

if we talk about the position in the coinmarket then it is still alternating to occupy the second position after bitcoin, but if it is about usability it seems the path has been different because ripple focuses on banking and ethereum platform wallet on the blockchain.

Now ethereum capitalization high value mlrw than xrp capitalization. We shaw since last year xep and ethereum always fighting to reach 2 place of coinmarketcap. Xrp is good coins and already lot of companies started payment and transaction with xrp. Anyway this is a nwxt generation transaction solution for us. I whold like to this technologies.

Ethereum still has high trust from several other types of Altcoin to date. although there will be other types of coins that have a higher price than Bitcoin. yes you're right, ethereum still has high trust. many investors are still loyal. so I think this proves that ethereum is indeed better than ripple. and I think the price or marketcap is not an appropriate indicator to measure how good the project is. I always judge based on benefits and a lot of demand, if the project has both of these things. I'm sure the project must be quality. |

I think we can't decide what is better from XRP and ETH. Because those have two different main usages. But those have competition to being rank 2 on coinmarketcap. But it doesn't mean that we should compare this.

I seriously doubt this is the case.. Just take a look at the use case of Ethereum and compare it with that of XRP. You will find out that, Ethereum has a more appealing use case than XRP and more trust and believe than XRP. It is also way more accepted and adopted than XRP meaning it has the potentials of more growth, more investments and more interest than XRP. XRP taking the second most capitalize coin doesn't really makes it better than Ethereum.

... I don't think ripple will ever take the place of ethereum... it's just like saying is ethereum better than stellar.. of course ethereum is not better than stellar ... ethereum came before stellar.. so it's going to take some time for users to accept stellar over ethereum

Second or third place means absolutely nothing. Those people who invested in XRP when they bought it at inflated prices still lost some of their money. It's the same story at the ETH. People who bought ETH for 700-800$ do not feel very comfortable. In any case, in the future, the chances of a price increase more than ETH as its popularity and technical support is much more and it is more promising.

At first glance we can see the potential of XRP is very good because it rose to rank 2 on marektcurrency and many other rumors. I assume that both are good and have great potential, but ETH in my opinion is still stronger and can quickly reclaim its position. In my opinion, ETH is very important and even has the nickname of the king of ICO.

Xrp and eth can be analyze on two aspect. Firstly xrp is good for trading because it very in particular range for white long time but eth is good from investment point of view. Second teh blockchain technology is better and still developing but in case of xrp it is not
