IMO, it has nothing or very little to do with the trade war between US and China. It has probably more to do with failed expectations of another strong uptrend. It also has to do with the recent BCH fork where BTC is a sort of collateral victim.

Shortage of volume is our biggest problem. As long as the volume is low there won't be really a good bull run going on. The trouble with volume is that when someone buys millions of dollars worth of bitcoin the volume goes up because people start to sell to get out from high prices and the price doesn't go high too much. There is no relevance with the trade war between China and US and so as the oil price fall down. Not normal? I am asking these also but not the price but the people who are investing on Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. The roller coaster price changes is normal, you know why? Because you are investing in a volatile crypto currency and ever small transactions can make a change. I doubt most of bitcoin users are 15-29 year olds, not a single chance. First of all, I am out of that bracket by a hair but everyone I know are out of that age bracket as well.

In reality most people who are interested in bitcoin could be 15-29 year olds but the real investors with money are not those people. First of all how much money can a 15 year old have to invest into bitcoin to begin with ? None. That is why most of the bitcoin users must be more like 25-40 year olds, probably even closer to 30-40 year olds.

People who are not old enough to retire and still think of ways to have easier retirement and also people who are not too young so they have some money saved up to actually invest into something like this. It doesn't fall anymore but the simplest explanation is that there are times when sellers outweight the buyers by a big margin. Since the market doesn't have a huge volume it is easily manipulated by the rich people who would like to change the direction of the market.

Sometimes that happens all of a sudden and the price goes down very quickly like it happened couple weeks ago. Those rich people know what they are doing and they can actually afford to "lose" money right now in order to make money later on.

I think the main reason for now is the low volume, we are really falling down because no one wants to buy at these prices, even though the price is low people are still scared that it might go down even more. Why would anyone want to buy during the peak of a bear run when they can buy on the start of a bull run.

The trouble we have right now can be overcome easily if we can change the mindset of the public. I mean the easiest way to make "I think bitcoin is going up" in peoples minds (people are worrying it might go down even further right now) is making the price go up back to 6.5 thousand dollars.

When in market more people start buying bitcoin then price rises automatically but when people start selling then price falls. I always thing my prediction will not been going to success at the end this time only it will reach essay good value so I think prediction is always important for the future but now I am happy to see the changes in between market and I waiting to gain my profit at the end of this year.

Everyone has the right to predict about the price of Bitcoin this year and the following year but I have good filing about this year which will see Bitcoin continue to grow and grow every day.

I agree with you that there is a big possibility that the increase will decorate this year's trip, and in my opinion there is no problem that the increase is large or small because with a stable market increase it will attract many new investors to arrive.

in general, it starts because panic sell happens simultaneously. influencing factors are negative information, such as hacking, or rejection of something, even negative comments from various parties. but, at present, these things begin to disappear.

Are you newbie OP? Bitcoin price always falling down if you just notice it. In market, either PSEI, FOREX or cryptocurrency is always have changes. What we need to do is to adapt that certain changes so that we can go with the flow to the market. It goes down because there is a bad news and it goes up because there is also major catalyst that makes the price to surge. Just wait for your perfect moment and see that your investment will not burn but it will be increased.

Falling down of the price in crypto market is normal because there's many reason to why that is happening like panic selling when the price of bitcoin goes up or down? Fud news every where, hacking and many more. But still people believe that all will be alright again and back on track.

And we have passed more than 5 months since the post was made and we're even $8k now.

1000 or below would be really difficult for some  reasons i don't want to post here. It's even possible  they tried to bring price below that level in the past without success.

There's still a possibility for that kind of low but I'm not rooting for it. The chart shows that we're on uptrend.
